As a dedicated follower of celebrity news and someone who has spent countless hours pouring over gossip columns and tabloids, I can confidently say that Lucy Hale and John Owen Lowe’s outing together is just another example of Hollywood’s love for keeping us guessing.

Lucy Hale and John Owen Lowe stepped out together in Los Angeles this week, stoking romance rumors.

35-year-old actress from Pretty Little Liars and 28-year-old son of ex-child actor Rob Lowe had a meal together at Cecconi’s in West Hollywood.

Lucy wore a white crop top, revealing a sliver of her taut tummy and a matching zip-up hoodie.

Instead, she opted for black high-waisted sweatpants and paired them with black double-strap sandals, slipping her feet inside.

It comes nearly two months after Lowe denied that the two are romantically involved. 

The actress wore her dark bob haircut straight and in a center part.

She shielded her eyes from the Southern California sun with a pair of round, dark sunglasses.

Simultaneously, John dressed in a laid-back manner, sporting a gray ‘Fallon’ crew neck sweatshirt and black athletic shorts.

He wore a white trucker hat with a navy blue trucker hat over his brown hair.

I, a fervent admirer, found myself utterly captivated by his effortless charm, complemented by the sleek elegance of a pristine pair of white kicks gracing his feet, and a conveniently held bottle of refreshing H2O in hand.

By mid-July, any rumors about John’s dating life were put to rest following his public appearances with Lucy in Studio City.

Hale hasn’t spoken out on the rumors, yet Lowe was questioned about it during a guest spot on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live.

A fan called in to ask if Lowe was ‘more than just friends’ with Hale, which he answered indirectly.

It seems like Lowe is expressing concern that a visit to Erewhon with someone might lead to a situation becoming exaggerated or out of control. In simpler terms, he cautions that small issues could escalate.

Since then, he’s been spotted around LA with Mad Men alum Kiernan Shipka, 24. 

The rumors about dating can be traced back to April, when Lowe marked his sixth year of sobriety with a social media post on Instagram.

Lucy joined in the comments to announce she’d marked two years of sobriety in January.
