Ever since the first full trailer for Avengers: Doomsday was released, fans have been buzzing about a specific scene. Many think the trailer might have accidentally shown one of the movie’s last moments. The trailer features Earth’s heroes – including the Avengers, Fantastic Four, and X-Men – getting ready to battle Doctor Doom. But a quick shot of Johnny Storm carrying an injured Sue Storm, both surrounded by a bright light, has really caught the attention of Marvel enthusiasts.

While understandable given the books skipped ahead almost thirty years, many fans were still upset that the story didn’t conclude with a third book. This also meant viewers never got to see the complete arc of Duarte, who was set up as the series’ most frightening villain.

The fourth season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds arrives on Paramount+ this week, making it a great time to start watching or revisit this highly-rated sci-fi series. New episodes will be released weekly through late September 2026. This show takes place before the original Star Trek series from 1966 and continues the story from another popular prequel, Star Trek: Discovery.
