Sabrina star’s Netflix horror movie confirms release date
As a fan who has spent countless hours binge-watching horror series and movies, I can hardly contain my excitement for Gavin Leatherwood’s new Netflix horror flick, “It’s What’s Inside”. Having grown up on classics like “The Shining” and “Psycho”, I have a soft spot for anything that sends chills down my spine.
The lead actor from “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina,” Gavin Leatherwood, has officially announced the release date for his upcoming Netflix horror series titled “It’s What’s Inside.”
The film unfolds around a pre-wedding gathering, which transforms into a harrowing philosophical predicament as an old acquaintance shows up together with a puzzling travel case.
The streaming platform has officially announced that the film is set to debut on October 4th, perfect timing for the spooky Halloween season.
The production titled “What’s Inside” hails from the pen of writer-director Greg Jardin, and boasts Euphoria’s Colman Domingo in the role of executive producer.
As a longtime fan of television and movies, I must say that the upcoming film boasts an impressive ensemble cast, having pulled in actors from some of my favorite shows such as “Fear the Walking Dead,” “The White Lotus,” “American Horror Story,” “Rap Sh!t,” “The Resort,” “From Dusk till Dawn: The Series,” “Gotham,” and “What Comes Around.” Having followed their careers over the years, I am thrilled to see such talented individuals coming together for this project. It’s always fascinating to witness how their diverse backgrounds and experiences shape their characters on screen, adding depth and realism to the stories they tell. This cast is a testament to the ever-evolving world of entertainment, where fresh talent consistently emerges and captivates audiences worldwide. I eagerly anticipate seeing these actors bring their A-game to this new production.
The film has already garnered a noteworthy 82% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, as _IndieWire_’s Jourdain Searles described it as “a boisterous, vibrant, chaotic, and darkly comic horror production.”
1. Esther Zuckerman from GQ referred to the film as an enjoyable journey suitable for comfortable viewing on a couch. On the other hand, Meagan Navarro from Bloody Disgusting forecasted that it would effortlessly attract a dedicated fanbase due to its unique premise and unwavering dedication to crazy entertainment.
The movie completed its filming as far back as late 2022. At that time, Edith Productions expressed their excitement about working with talented director Greg [Jardin], stating, “We are delighted to welcome such an exceptional auteur filmmaker like Greg Jardin. Leatherwood gained significant recognition by portraying the character Nicholas Scratch on Netflix’s series “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina,” which spanned over four seasons from 2018 to 2020.
