XRP Struggles Below Key Levels: Is a Recovery Possible in Q1 2026?

<a href="https://jpyeur.com/xrp-usd/">Ripple</a> Price Analysis: <a href="https://bbg-news.com/xrp-usd/">XRP</a> Recoveries Stay Weak Below This Key Level

Since reaching a high point in July 2025, the price of XRP has consistently fallen, performing worse than both the US dollar and Bitcoin for the last eight months. As of early 2026, the price remains below important trend lines and within a downward pattern, suggesting the overall trend is still negative.

Ripple Price Analysis: The USDT Pair

XRP is currently trading around $1.42, having risen slightly from a low of $1.20 in February. This $1.20 level has acted as a strong support point. However, the price increase hasn’t been significant, and XRP remains below key moving averages around $1.80 and $2.10, which could act as resistance if it continues to rise.

If the price of XRP stays above $1.80 for a while, it could signal a renewed upward trend. However, if it falls below $1.20, it might test the $1.00 support level and potentially fall even further. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) has bounced back from being oversold, but it’s currently neutral, not indicating a clear direction for the price.

The BTC Pair

XRP/BTC is currently trading around 2,020 sats, and has been in a downward trend for months. It’s trading below key moving averages – the 100-day average at 2,100 sats and the 200-day average around 2,200 sats. Attempts to push the price higher have been consistently stopped at the 2,500 sats resistance level since October 2025.

XRP has managed to stay above the $2,000 support level when looking at daily closing prices, and its RSI indicator is showing some recovery after reaching a very oversold condition during the recent price drop – which is a slightly encouraging signal. However, XRP needs to climb above a key resistance level and regain its 100-day and 200-day moving averages to suggest a likely upward trend; otherwise, it’s more likely to continue falling in price.
