When is Genshin Impact Version 5.0 livestream and update
As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I must say that the anticipation for the Genshin Impact Version 5.0 Update is palpable! The introduction of Emilie and Simulanka in Version 4.8 has certainly whet our appetite for more.
On July 17, 2024, the latest Version 4.8 update for the popular game Genshin Impact was launched. This update introduces a new playable character, Emilie, and a limited-time map called Simulanka. With its increased action and promised content, players are eagerly awaiting the release date of the next update. Following Version 4.8, there will be a large Version 5.0 Update livestream in Genshin Impact. During this stream, information about the new version update will be announced, as well as some free Genshin Impact redeem codes that players can use to receive rewards.

On August 16th, 2024, we’ll be hosting a live stream for our Version 5.0 update. You can catch it on Twitch and YouTube. During this event, we’ll unveil all the key changes in the 5.0 Update content. This special occasion marks the debut of the Natlan Region!
When is the update release date
The anticipated 5.0 Update is scheduled for release on the 28th of August, 2024. This will commence at 6 AM Server Time, following a maintenance period. As with previous updates, it might take several hours before it becomes active. In case the update takes an unusually long time (which has been the case previously), HoYoverse will compensate players with primogems.
