Wendy Williams ‘can find peace’ at Brock Pierce’s mansion, says former child star

Wendy Williams has a vocal supporter in former child star and cryptocurrency mogul Brock Pierce.

In a heartfelt gesture during her public struggle with her financial guardian, Pierce – known for his success in “The Mighty Ducks” and co-founder of the crypto company Tether – stepped forward to offer one of his homes to the former daytime talk show host. Speaking to Page Six, he explained, “When I saw her reach out for help, it was unthinkable to turn a blind eye.

Pierce expressed that he’s providing “Williams with a sanctuary where she can find tranquility, receive appropriate care, and embark on her path to recovery.” Previously appearing on Williams’ daytime talk show, the former independent presidential candidate offered his backing after the radio and TV host was admitted to the hospital earlier this week.

According to Wendy William’s son, efforts are underway to bring Wendy home from her healthcare facility as solitude appears to be causing her more harm than any other factor.

According to The Times, the New York Police Department stated that on Monday, they were called to a senior living facility in New York due to a wellness check. It is said that Williams, who allegedly wrote a note asking for help and dropped it from a window, was involved. The authorities confirmed that EMS arrived at the scene and took a 60-year-old woman to a nearby hospital for examination. TMZ broadcasted footage showing Williams, aged 60, being accompanied by an officer as they escorted her to an ambulance.

Since wrapping up her popular talk show at the end of 2022, Williams has mostly kept away from public scrutiny, surrounded by speculation about her mental health and a contentious legal battle over guardianship. However, her recent hospitalization provided an unexpected platform for her to address health concerns and express dissatisfaction with her appointed guardian.

In a recent conversation, Wendy Williams has responded to claims made by her guardian suggesting her cognitive abilities are compromised. When asked about it on ‘The Breakfast Club’, she questioned, “Does it appear that way?

On Tuesday, she conducted multiple phone interviews, one with “The Breakfast Club” radio show and another with “Good Day New York” morning program, all from her hospital bed. During these talks, she, along with caregiver Ginalisa Monterroso, voiced worries about the guardian’s suspected dominance over Williams and emphasized the promising outcomes of Williams’ competency assessments: She aced them brilliantly.

On Friday, Williams is scheduled to join “The View” by phone, extending her recent trend of vocal advocacy.
