Victoria and David Beckham looked stylish and relaxed as they arrived at the opening of David’s team’s new stadium, walking hand in hand. Victoria wore a chic white suit.
On Saturday, the ex-soccer star, age 50, unveiled his Inter Miami team’s new Freedom Park Stadium with his wife, a former Spice Girl, age 51, by his side.
The couple showed their affection for each other while attending the ribbon-cutting ceremony before the Inter Miami CF and Austin FC soccer game at Nu Stadium.
Victoria wore a white, oversized suit with wide-leg trousers and a pale grey vest with a keyhole neckline for the event.
Meanwhile David represented his team in a navy suit with the Inter Miami crest embroidered onto it.
David received immediate support from his family. His son Romeo posted a photo of David at the stadium, and his youngest son, Cruz, shared a heartfelt message about his dad online.
Twenty-one-year-old Cruz Beckham shared photos on Instagram while checking out a venue, shortly after his brother, Brooklyn, was seen having what appeared to be a serious phone conversation as their family disagreement continues.
He expressed immense pride in his father as they looked around the impressive new stadium, and he even got to sit in the same seat as Lionel Messi.
Cruz wrote a heartfelt message saying he couldn’t be prouder of his dad, who has always inspired him to be a better person and shown him that hard work makes dreams come true.
Before adding: ‘And today you have made history once again, Vamos Miami, see ya tonight’.
David responded with a message of affection, saying ‘Thanks so much, I love you! But… what are you doing sitting in Leo’s spot?? @cruzbeckham Love you.’
While both mum Victoria and girlfriend Jackie Apostel, 30, posted a string of love heart emojis.
On Friday, David Beckham gave everyone a preview of Inter Miami’s new stadium, which cost $750 million (£566.5 million) to build, before it’s officially shown off.
In 2023, the England legend began building what was then known as Miami Freedom Park, three years after the club was established.
Since their first season, Inter Miami has played at Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, which currently holds 21,500 fans. They’re planning to move closer to Miami International Airport and expand the stadium’s capacity to 26,700.
David Beckham shared a photo on Instagram from Inter Miami’s first practice at their new Nu Stadium, calling it ‘Our new home’ along with two pink heart emojis. The post showed off the stadium’s bright pink and white design.
The 50-year-old also posted photos of the new ground, including himself trying it out, and received many congratulatory messages.
The stadium is the central feature of Miami Freedom Park, a $1 billion entertainment complex built on 131 acres of land in Miami.
David and his business partner Jorge Mas intended to have the new stadium ready by the summer of 2025, ideally aligning with Lionel Messi’s anticipated final season playing for the team.
