Urban Heat” is a multiplayer first-person shooter game developed by OneUp Games. The game can now be accessed early in certain regions. It’s set in an urban landscape controlled by gangs where players participate in 3v3 and 5v5 team deathmatch battles across different locations. To succeed in this game, it’s crucial to have the right character for your team. For your convenience, we will discuss the top characters in this “Urban Heat” Character Tier List. This guide will assist you in making informed decisions as you begin playing the game.

Introducing the in-game character archetype system

This game includes a feature similar to clans and leagues, referred to as ‘teams‘ or ‘crews‘. You have the option to pick from one of three distinct teams, each with its own unique style, appearance, and thirty exclusive characters. The names for these teams are: El Coco, Carbons, and Golden Coppers. Each team provides multiple playable characters within the game. These characters are categorized into three main types based on their basic stats, which are referred to as archetypes. These include:

  • Light: The Light characters are very agile and swift, but they lack health points. These characters are great for flanking and fast-paced gameplays. Beware as their HP depletes very fast.
  • Medium: As the name suggests, these characters are the most balanced in Urban Heat. They offer both health and speed advantages. Their attributes are suitable for mid-range combats.
  • Heavy: To execute every fast and strategic play, you will need a tank character to protect your damage dealers from enemy attacks. The Heavy characters are the perfect choice for this role. Their massive health points compensate for the lack of speed in their gameplay. These slow and resilient archetypes are suitable for your team’s frontline.

Currently, the characters in Urban Heat are categorized into four distinct groups: SS, S, A, and B. The strength of a character is determined by their unique abilities, advantages, and performance during each confrontation.

Best Meta Characters in Urban Heat

When playing games such as Urban Heat, choosing the optimal character can significantly impact your chances of winning rounds. If you and your fellow players all opt for the same type of characters, it increases the likelihood that your team may encounter difficulties against well-coordinated teams. Utilize this Urban Heat Character Tier List to pick the most effective character for yourself.

We’ll consistently advise you to choose the top option tailored for your specific role within the team. Yet, remember to expand your character repertoire as well. This variety will strengthen your team significantly. However, it’s not feasible to play every character at the start of the game. Instead, progress in your group to unlock new characters by simply playing the game. Now, let me share some insights on the top characters from each class.

1. Yuji ‘Razor’ Sato

Characterized by a high level of battlefield expertise, Razor is often likened to the Medium archetype. He demonstrates exceptional proficiency with Sniper Rifles, handling them effortlessly. Moreover, his unique talent, the crack shot, proves advantageous not only at a distance but also in close quarters, allowing him to swiftly switch from his primary weapon to a handgun for optimal performance.

Due to his character type, he’s not only nimble but also possesses impressive running and shooting abilities. This versatile skill set makes him an excellent addition to any team.

2. Isabela ‘Chispa’ Torres

Chispa is an ideal pick for your versatile team member, as she excels in handling Sub Machine Guns (SMGs). Her skills in this area complement her Light-type abilities perfectly, creating a formidable duo capable of causing significant damage to the opposing team.

When your primary adversary engages in combat with the enemy’s frontline, Chispa can stealthily approach and eliminate their glass cannon units. Remember to team her up with a robust character like Meatball or Gunzilla to maximize her potential.

3. Gunnar ‘Gunzilla’ Anderson

The Gunzilla is the perfect tank character to shield your attackers from incoming enemy fire. Not only can he effectively protect them, but he can also take the lead and score some early victories due to his impressive weaponry setup. This setup includes a Light Machine Gun (LMG) and a Shotgun.

This character possesses an impressive resilience, making him quite challenging to manage against opponents. His top-tier talent, named Tactical Shield, enables him to erect a static barrier that effectively deflects enemy attacks while teammates can still fire through it.
