As a lifelong Star Wars fan, I’m incredibly excited! In May 2026, we’re finally getting a new Star Wars movie in theaters! It’s going to feature Din Djarin (The Mandalorian) and Grogu, and it’s the first big-screen adventure since the Skywalker Saga concluded with The Rise of Skywalker back in 2019. Honestly, after years of watching at home, it feels like a huge deal – a real return to the magic of seeing Star Wars on the big screen.

The Mandalorian and Grogu marks a new direction for the franchise, coming after Disney+ significantly expanded the Star Wars universe and refined its creative approach.
