Two Strikes, a Sengoku Era-Inspired 2D Fighter, is Coming to Xbox This Month
The development company, Retro Reactor Games, has shared that their 2D combat-style game, inspired by Japan’s Sengoku era, named Two Strikes, is set to release on consoles this current month.
In a fusion of classic Japanese artistry and high-speed combat encounters, the skirmishes in Two Strikes are indeed swift, often ending within one or two well-placed blows. Therefore, having keen accuracy and expertise in shielding yourself from your adversary’s assault is crucial. Each of the game’s eight unique warriors possess distinct fighting methods to learn and adapt to.
In this game, you have the opportunity to showcase your abilities across both single-player and multiplayer modes, complete with online cross-play. The story mode provides a detailed account of each fighter’s history and background as they engage in Shinigami’s Tournament. For a sneak peek, check out the trailer for the mobile version below.
The game titled “Two Strikes” is set to arrive on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch in its complete version on 25th April. It will be available at a price of $19.99, after its Early Access launch on PC.
