Travel Guides stars Danielle and Jonathan Fren welcome first child: ‘He’s our whole world’

Travel Guides fan favourites Jonathan Fren and his wife Danielle have welcomed their first child.

The couple shared a collection of adorable photos of their new baby boy, Theodore James Fren, to celebrate his arrival.

‘He’s our whole world,’ they captioned the joint Instagram post, which was shared with Woman’s Day.

According to the publication, the couple confirmed that their bundle of joy arrived on March 31.

‘Our hearts are just so full of love for him. It’s been a big adjustment,’ they said in the story.

A picture shows the three-week-old baby wearing a beautiful knitted outfit, including a hat and socks, and yawning widely.

Another photo shows Theodore’s delighted mum and dad posing beside him and beaming proudly. 

Jonathan’s parents, and his Travel Guides co-stars, Cathy and Mark, are now grandparents! They welcomed their first grandchild recently, he shared.

‘He looks like his grandfather,’ messaged an excited fan on the post. 

People shared their congratulations and excitement, with one writing, ‘Little Theodore is going to be so loved!’ Another simply said, ‘Huge congrats, and we love his name!’

In December, the couple announced they were expecting by sharing photos from a gender reveal party with their friends and family on Instagram.

Oh my gosh, they posted a picture of the most amazing cake! It was covered in beautiful white icing, and get this – it said ‘Hey Baby’ on top! I swear, everything about them is just perfect. I need that cake in my life!

The couple included a heartfelt message to their loved ones.

‘It’s a boy! We are over the moon to announce Baby Fren is a BOY!’ the pair wrote in the post.

Thank you so much to everyone who joined us for our gender reveal today, even with the really hot weather! We’re so thankful for all the love and support we’ve received.

‘We can’t wait to meet this little boy in April 2026,’ they continued. 

People quickly responded to the post with congratulatory messages, among them travel experts Kevin Maloney and Janetta Stones.

‘Great news, Dani and Jono,’ they wrote. 

I was so thrilled when they first shared the news! Back in October, they posted a picture on Instagram of their sonogram – a beautiful first look at their baby on the way. It was such a sweet reveal, and I’ve been following their journey ever since!

The picture was decorated with teddy bears, a baby onesie that said ‘Baby Fren’, and alphabet blocks forming the word ‘baby’.

Married for five years, the couple spends six months apart each year because Jono is often away filming.

Jonathan and Danielle connected on Tinder in 2019 and fell in love. They got married in 2021.

Danielle isn’t usually on Travel Guides, but she recently traveled to Japan with her family, stepping in when her sister-in-law, Victoria, couldn’t make the trip.
