The innovative game studio, known as Pocket Play Studio, has unveiled their upcoming next-generation role-playing game (RPG), titled “Toria.” This highly anticipated title is scheduled to hit the shelves at the close of June 2025. Remarkably, this is the studio’s inaugural project, meticulously crafted by a team of experienced developers. As of now, “Toria” is being developed for both Android and iOS platforms.
Get ready for a new adventure full of surprises and branching paths
Toria is an engaging role-playing game that seamlessly combines an intriguing narrative, brain-teasing puzzles, and tactical turn-based battles. In this captivating title, you assume the role of a mercenary commander, venturing through the vast expanse of Toria in search of riches, acclaim, and enigmatic secrets about the land and its inhabitants.

The game stands out due to its innovative world layout, offering an unpredictable adventure rather than monotonous grinding or routine quests. You’ll stumble upon unexpected occurrences and multiple options for progression, ensuring each gaming session feels distinct. However, I wasn’t convinced by many of the ‘next-gen’ features it boasts.
As a gamer, one thing I absolutely adore about this game is its immersive, intricately designed world map, divided into unique exploratory zones such as the Flooded Mine and Gopla Swamps, to name a few. What’s more, each zone features randomly generated maps, unveiling themselves as you journey through, ensuring that no two gaming sessions are ever identical, even when navigating the same region.
Engage in turn-based combat, collect intriguing characters, and more
I’m excited about its 3D tactical battle system that transitions turn-by-turn, offering fights from 1-on-1 to 6-on-6 engagements. I believe the gameplay promises to be engaging as it incorporates elements such as damage over time (DOTS), boosts, and debilitating effects (debuffs) to secure victory. Frankly, the characters are fascinating too, with their individual backstories, objectives, secret skills, and other intriguing aspects.
In summary, Toria appears intriguing with its mix of settings ranging from various cities to rugged expeditions, strategic battles, hidden dungeons filled with treasures, brain-teasing puzzles, formidable bosses, and a diverse cast of characters such as barbarians and archers. I eagerly anticipate the day of release and am thrilled to discover what awaits us.
Toria is a new game that’s being worked on right now, set to launch on both Android and iOS devices around the end of June 2025. For further information, visit their official site.
