Toby Jones and Martin Freeman’s “stand-out” murder mystery is now streaming in the UK

The new murder mystery film Flavia, starring Martin Freeman and Toby Jones, is now streaming in the UK. You can watch it with a Sky Cinema or NOW Cinema subscription.

This delightful series, based on the books by Alan Bradley, centers around Flavia de Luce, an 11-year-old who loves to solve mysteries. The story begins when a murder occurs at her family’s large country home, and Flavia takes it upon herself to investigate.

Her father is the main suspect, but can she prove his innocence and discover the truth?

Julian Freeman stars as Flavia’s father, Havilland, and Alun Armstrong plays Inspector Hewitt. Joining them are Jonathan Pryce, known from Pirates of the Caribbean, as Dr. Kissing, Annette Badland from Ted Lasso as Mrs. Mullet, and Ben Miles, who appears in The Capture, as King George.

Bharat Nalluri, who directed Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day, and Susan Coyne, the writer for Daisy Jones & The Six, teamed up to create this project. They had collaborated before on The Man Who Invented Christmas.
