I was absolutely blown away by the fashion at the “Devil Wears Prada 2” premiere in New York City last night! Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, and Emily Blunt all really delivered – they clearly understood the assignment and embraced the stylish spirit of the movie without being too over-the-top. Honestly, even Miranda Priestly herself would have had to admit they looked fantastic. It’s been so fun following them on this press tour, which started way back in late March!
Although the film is associated with Prada, many of the cast members actually wore designs by Schiaparelli during promotional events. Both established and new cast members showcased stunning gowns – worthy of a fashion magazine cover – featuring custom creations and vintage pieces. Notably, none of the outfits included floral patterns.
At the New York City premiere, Anne Hathaway stunned in a striking red satin dress. The tea-length gown was a creation of Nicolas Ghesquière for Louis Vuitton, and she accessorized with beautiful Bulgari jewelry.
Lady Gaga wore a black Saint Laurent gown from the fall 2016 collection, styled by sisters Chloe and Chenelle Delgadillo. She especially stood out with her dazzling 7-carat earrings from Tiffany & Co.
Okay, so I was so excited to hear Lady Gaga was going to be in the movie – honestly, everyone knew it! Director David Frankel even admitted to Vanity Fair it was the worst-kept secret in Hollywood. But it’s not just a cameo – she actually created a new song for the soundtrack, called “Runway,” and it features the amazing rapper Doechii. I can’t wait to hear it!
At the New York City premiere, Meryl Streep wore a flowing red dress by Givenchy, designed by Sarah Burton, and paired it with black gloves and Stuart Weitzman heels. She completed the look with statement sunglasses.
Emily Blunt stunned in a Schiaparelli dress from the spring 2026 collection. The dress featured a fitted, structured top that flowed into a sheer tulle skirt, with the warm color of the fabric beautifully complementing her bold red lipstick. The bodice was intricately covered in approximately 25,000 delicate silk feathers, a labor of love that took around 4,000 hours to complete.
Simone Ashley, known for her role in “Bridgerton,” recently appeared in “The Devil Wears Prada” wearing a vintage Prada dress. The chartreuse dress, styled by Rebecca Corbin-Murray, was complemented by diamond jewelry. Ashley plays Amari, Miranda Priestly’s new assistant, in the film.
Streep wore a custom Prada power suit and David Yurman jewels while promoting the film in Seoul.
At the Seoul premiere of the film, Anne Hathaway wore a striking red leather outfit by Balenciaga. Stylist Erin Walsh paired a large, oversized jacket with a fitted pencil skirt, completing the look with Hathaway’s smooth, pulled-back ponytail.
At the start of the movie’s publicity tour in Mexico City, Meryl Streep wore a long, navy blue Schiaparelli dress with a belt, styled by Micaela Erlanger.
For an appearance on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert,” Hathaway wore vintage Versace.
