Southern Charm star Madison LeCroy reveals husband Brett Randle, 38, was diagnosed with thyroid cancer
As a lifestyle expert with extensive experience in navigating life’s challenges, I can empathize deeply with Madison LeCroy and her family. Life has a way of throwing unexpected curveballs, and it seems as if they’ve been hit by a barrage of them.
Madison LeCroy disclosed that her spouse, Brett Randle, had been diagnosed with thyroid cancer approximately during their first wedding anniversary.
During Thursday’s episode of Southern Charm, the television personality disclosed the news. She expressed concerns about his health struggle, which had surfaced towards the end of 2023 – a year following their heartfelt nuptials at a private ceremony in Mexico.
The hairdresser, 34, expressed her feelings in a private conversation, saying, ‘At last, I’m truly content. It’s just a bit terrifying.’
She proceeded to explain that Randle, 38, underwent surgery to remove a ‘three-centimeter nodule.’
Despite successfully treating his cancer, the firefighter encountered some difficulties or setbacks.
‘I feel like we can’t catch a f**ing break,’ she told viewers.
In the given episode, Randle shared some difficulties he experienced after surgery, describing to his wife an unusual sensation similar to having a small stone caught when swallowing.
She reassured him, showing genuine concern, “Don’t worry, I’ll help you sort this out. Let me take care of it for you.
Eventually, she confessed that discussing her husband’s cancer had proven challenging for her when speaking with her 12-year-old son Hudson, whom she co-parents with her former partner Josh Hughes.
She shared with Hudson that Brett was unwell, without elaborating on the effects of cancer. She tries to conceal her emotions around Hudson as she feels the need to maintain strength for her family.
Later on, the television figure admitted that there are certain days when she feels like shouting out loud and that almost anything might set her off.
Speaking as a lifestyle advisor, I might say: “Someone recently asked me when I was planning to have a child. To be honest, my partner and I have been discussing it, but for the time being, we’ve decided to put those plans on hold.
Earlier, LeCroy shared with Us Weekly that this year has been particularly emotional for her and her family, as they continue to cope with the passing of her father, Ted LeCroy.
‘There’s a few bumps in the road, but we come out on top,’ she insisted.

Regardless of her husband’s struggle with cancer, the reality star declared that married life has been ‘exceptionally good’ and she’s ‘extremely contented.’
In January 2024, she revealed her father, Ted, passed away with an emotional tribute on Instagram.
Regardless of my location, your presence will be by my side. I’m confident that you’ll forever remain close to me, wherever I go or whatever may happen. This sentiment is beautifully expressed in the caption of a monochrome photograph from our wedding day.
She additionally referred to him as her “most precious present” and “eternal hero,” mentioning that his memory would inspire her “each and every day.
