People who know the actor, who usually keeps his personal life private, were surprised by his very public displays of affection with Brooks, as reported by the Daily Mail last month.
Some people close to the situation wondered if the romantic encounter was staged to help him land the job of the next James Bond, as rumors suggest he’s a leading candidate to replace Daniel Craig.
Despite rumors that their relationship was just for show, Taron and Brooks have further dismissed the speculation with a recent public display of affection.
Taron Egerton was photographed leaving the water in Bondi, Sydney, hand-in-hand with Brooks, who is 29 years old. The scene reminded people of Daniel Craig’s iconic walk out of the ocean in the movie Casino Royale.
Taron chose navy swim trunks instead of briefs, and went swimming shirtless, revealing his impressively toned physique.
With his strong build and a stunning partner by his side, he’s the clear frontrunner for the highly sought-after role, which became available when Daniel stepped down.

It was such a sweet moment – they were completely lost in each other, kissing and hugging. Then, out of nowhere, a fan politely asked for a photo, and actually handed the camera to Taron!
