In December, Brooke shared how deeply affected she was by the news of her father, cricketer Shane Warne’s, passing.

The influencer found out about her father’s sudden death from a heart attack while she was with family, including her boyfriend, Alex Heath.

Brooke shared on her brother Jackson’s podcast, Warnes Way, that the sad news was a complete surprise.

She said in the interview, clearly upset, that she never imagined anything was wrong with her father.

Brooke explained that Jackson was the first to learn the news when Shane’s manager, Andrew Neophitou, called him.

Also with her that night was her mother, Simone Callahan, Shane’s ex.

When the family heard the cricket legend had suffered a major heart attack, everyone immediately jumped up.

‘We stood up, and I remember I couldn’t breathe,’ she remembered.

Hearing that… it felt like I was watching everything happen to someone else. It just didn’t seem real.

Brooke admitted she had been trying to reassure herself that Shane would recover while they waited for updates.

Let me explain what happened, as I understand it. Initially, the family received a call saying Shane had suffered a major heart attack. Then, shortly after, they got a second call letting them know that doctors were working to revive him. It was a truly frightening sequence of events for everyone involved.

James Erskine, Shane’s manager, finally called back after a stressful 90-minute wait to give his family an update.

Brooke explained that she never believed they would lose her father forever.

She explained that as soon as they received confirmation of Shane’s death from his team, everyone began to scream, and she herself screamed and cried.

Shane died suddenly from a massive heart attack while on holiday in Thailand in March 2022.

A famous cricketer, who also works as a commentator and owns businesses, was discovered unconscious at a villa in Koh Samui, a popular resort destination.
