Actress Laverne Cox, age 40, recently gained attention after publicly accusing singer Lizzo, 41, of assault at a Melbourne nightclub called Spice Market.

While Victoria Police investigate a claim against her, Rose has flown to the US to compete on the challenging reality show, Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test – the American version of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.

The show challenges celebrities by subjecting them to a tough, fast-paced version of the SAS selection process, used to train special forces operatives.

Contestants who have caused trouble in the past have sometimes been given a second chance, often involving tough questions about their behavior and challenges to test their mental strength.

The Australian edition of the show has featured candid and heartfelt confessions from well-known figures like Wayne Carey, Schapelle Corby, and Candice Warner.

This follows a recent article by Rose, published over ten years ago, which revealed new details about the actress’s accusation that Perry sexually assaulted her at a nightclub in 2010.

In 2011, the Herald Sun published an account of a night out in Melbourne where Rose vomited on Perry at the Grand Hyatt hotel, reportedly while intoxicated.

Rose said the two started their evening by sneaking into a high school prom held at the hotel, and then went on to Spice Market, a nightclub located within the same building.

Rose recently shared a story about a night she completely embarrassed herself and lost her keys. She recalled going to a year 12 formal with Katy Perry, though she doesn’t remember it clearly. She explained she had been sober for 30 days, making this her first attempt at giving up alcohol, and they had gone out to party.

I do remember thinking to myself, ‘I’ve earned a drink tonight. What could possibly go wrong?’ As it turned out, the answer was having more than one, then far too many, and ultimately throwing up on Katy’s foot.

Honestly, Rose keeps saying everything was amazing that night, that absolutely nothing bad happened at all! She’s told everyone it was actually one of the best choices she’s ever made, and I just… I totally believe her. It has to be true if she says so, right? I’m so glad she feels that way!

A spokesperson for Katy Perry responded to Ruby Rose’s claims in a statement to the Daily Mail, strongly denying them. They called the allegations made on social media ‘categorically false, dangerous, and reckless lies.’

Ms. Rose frequently makes serious claims about people on social media, but those accused have consistently denied her accusations.

Just recently, video from that night reappeared online, revealing Perry had actually gone to a high school dance to surprise his fans.

A previous employee of the nightclub stated that Rose and Perry were both at the club together on August 15, 2010.

A former employee claimed the celebrities had consumed a lot of alcohol and were discreetly escorted out a back exit of the club. The manager confirmed they did not witness any instances of sexual assault.

Victoria Police are now investigating Rose’s claims that Perry sexually assaulted her.

Police detectives with Melbourne’s Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team (SOCIT) are looking into a sexual assault that happened in Melbourne in 2010, a police spokesperson told Daily Mail on Wednesday.

‘Police have been told the incident occurred at a licensed premises in Melbourne’s CBD.’

Because the investigation is still in progress, they said it’s not possible to share any more details right now.

Rose has shared on Threads that she’s unable to discuss the situation further because the police are currently investigating what she reported.

The Australian athlete announced on Tuesday that they had finished all of their reports earlier that day.
