Roger Daltrey reveals tour that feels like a farewell for the Who legend

The Who recently played what might be their final concert, but knowing the band – with Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend at the helm – it’s hard to say for sure. And that’s perfectly fine. They earned their status as rock legends, so any outcome is acceptable.

Roger Daltrey is planning a series of concerts that may be his last solo performances in the United States. The tour kicks off in late August and runs through the end of September. Tickets will first be available through a pre-sale on Wednesday, May 13th, at 10:00 AM local time, followed by general public sales on Friday, May 15th, also at 10:00 AM local time.

You can buy tickets at Ticketmaster. Both the pre-sale and general sale will be available there.

Roger Daltrey announces 2026 tour dates in the United States

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, The Who’s singer, Roger Daltrey, hinted that both The Who’s current tour and his solo performances may be coming to an end. The 82-year-old stated that after finishing the U.S. leg of The Who’s tour, he’s considering retiring from solo work as well. After 17 years of touring with various bands, he’s starting to prefer a more relaxed lifestyle and will evaluate his options.

The Who are releasing a live album, but it’s not a high-energy rock record. Titled Live at Eden Project, it will be available on May 29th and showcases Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend performing with the Heart of England Philharmonic Orchestra.
