Okay, let’s talk summer vibes! Rita Ora definitely turned up the heat on Instagram this weekend with a stunning bikini pic. It was one of those photos that just stopped people mid-scroll – a total confidence boost and a little bit of a ‘look at me’ moment, if you know what I mean! She really knows how to own a moment and inspire a little self-love, doesn’t she?
The 35-year-old singer showed off her toned stomach while wearing a black triangle bikini top and taking a selfie in the mirror.
She wore a swimsuit with yellow bikini bottoms and a black skirt over them.
Rita completed her look with a black and white bandana worn around her head, and shared a series of close-up and wider-angle photos.
Along with her new album, she wrote a message saying she was unsure if she was getting better or worse. She then jokingly commented on the appearance of her finger and added that she hadn’t posted a flirty photo in a while.
She recently shared her fitness routine with Women’s Health UK, explaining how she’s getting her body ready for menopause and future family plans. This comes after she previously discussed freezing her eggs in her twenties.
The singer, recently featured on the cover of Women’s Health UK, shared that her twenties were a wonderful time, filled with career success and pure enjoyment.
Five years ago, when she turned 30, she started to feel significant changes in her body. This led her to completely change her workout routine and adopt a new way of thinking – that she needed to care for her body as if she were an athlete.
I’ve been wanting to clarify something about my health journey. It’s really important to me that people understand it isn’t about vanity or being obsessed with how I look. It’s easy for that to be misinterpreted, but honestly, it’s all about how I feel – my overall well-being is what I’m focused on.
In addition to weight training, the singer has been learning about menopause. Seeing her mother undergo breast cancer treatment, which caused early menopause, inspired her to educate herself on the topic.
‘I’m trying to get ahead of it and learn about it,’ she explained, adding: ‘I learned a lot from Davina [McCall] while working with her on The Masked Singer.’
Rita, the stepmother of Taika Waititi’s daughters, feels confident about her future fertility because she froze her eggs twice – once at age 24 and again at 27.
She recalled a doctor telling her it was an ideal time to freeze her best eggs.
Looking back, it was great advice. Now that I’m in my thirties, I see a lot of my friends still trying to find their path, and I know things will naturally grow when the time is right. Davina always encourages me, telling me to go for it and that I’m capable.
Rita and Taika got married in a private ceremony in August 2022, after Rita surprised everyone by proposing to him instead of waiting for him to propose to her.
Looking back on my twenties, I definitely had my share of relationship ups and downs! But when I met my partner, Taika, in 2021, it was a completely different experience. It just felt right – comfortable, secure, and like I could truly be myself. It was such a relief to finally find that kind of connection.
Prior to their romantic relationship, Rita and Taika were close friends for five years.
Rita has thought about having a family of her own someday, but right now she’s happy being a stepmother to Te Kāinga, 13, and Matewa, 9. She says, ‘I’ve enjoyed every moment – the girls are wonderful. I feel very fortunate.’
‘We have a lot of fun – doing nails, going shopping. I love hanging out with them.’
Rita shared that a panic attack she experienced in 2016, while meeting Prince Charles at a charity event, led her to prioritize her mental wellbeing, in addition to her physical health.
Whenever I look at that picture of me with Tom Hardy, I’m instantly reminded of how surreal it felt being there. It was like watching myself from outside my body, she explained.
It was a real turning point for me. That was when I first realized I needed to address the issue. Therapy helped me gain a new outlook, and honestly, that’s something I hadn’t learned before.
