Looking for a gripping British crime thriller to watch on Saturday night? Check out Hyena, starring Stephen Graham. You can find it on the BFI Player website or app, or through Prime Video as an add-on channel. New subscribers can try the BFI Player for free.
The movie centers around a team of police officers in West London who are part of a special unit. They’ve become corrupt, secretly working with drug dealers to make money instead of arresting them.
When a new gang tries to move into an area, police often attempt to negotiate with them, but these negotiations usually fail and make things worse.

The taskforce will be investigated by the professional standards department. However, the person leading the investigation has a personal connection to one of the officers accused of corruption.
The film features a strong cast including Peter Ferdinando, known for his role in High-Rise, Tony Pitts from Line of Duty, Neil Maskell of Peaky Blinders, Thomas Craig who appears in Coronation Street, Richard Dormer from Game of Thrones, and MyAnna Buring, recognized for her work in The Witcher, alongside Graham.
