Peter Falk’s daughter Jacqueline dead at 60: Passing of Columbo icon’s adopted child is declared a suicide

Peter Falk, the actor best known for playing Columbo, has tragically lost his daughter Jacqueline, who passed away this week in Los Angeles. Authorities have confirmed her death was a suicide.

Jacqueline was the daughter of Falk and his first wife, Alyce Mayo, whom he married in 1960 and divorced in 1976. They also adopted another daughter together.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the woman who died by suicide Monday as a 60-year-old. She was found at a home.

It’s still unknown if she left a note. However, her body has been released, and the investigation is ongoing.

Both of her parents passed away before she did. Her father, Falk, died in 2011 at the age of 83 after suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, and her mother, Mayo, died in 2016 at 85.
