Pete Wicks shares the one bizarre thing he is scared of while Wynne Evans reveals the ‘weird’ tattoo Katya Jones gave him as the stars dress up for Halloween Week
As a seasoned journalist with years of experience under my belt, I’ve learned to keep an open mind and a keen eye for the subtle nuances that often lie beneath the surface of a story. The tale of Wynne Evans’ seemingly off-hand comment about Strictly Come Dancing’s spooky season feels like one of those instances where a simple jest has been blown out of proportion.
Pete Wicks has revealed his bizarre fear ahead of Strictly Come Dancing’s Halloween Week.
As a diehard fan, I can’t help but share the intriguing revelations from my beloved TOWIE alum, now 36 years old. In an unexpected confession, he admitted that gorillas are the one thing that truly scares him. Meanwhile, his fellow cast member, Wynne Evans, seems to have followed suit with his own unique move—revealing his most recent tattoo!
Pete made the surprising admission ahead of the BBC dance show’s Halloween special.
When asked if anything scared him, he said: ‘Nothing. Actually, gorillas.
If they had ambitions to rule the globe, they surely could, but instead, they’d probably use my arm as a weapon against me if needed, whereas in other aspects, there’s not much else to report.
Additionally, he clarified that he’s not particularly fond of the Halloween festivities and admitted to disliking it intensely. In fact, during this time, he prefers to keep his blinds shut and switch off all the lights to discourage trick-or-treaters.
Wynne, also made some surprising admission ahead of his performance.
The 52-year-old Welsh opera singer disclosed a peculiar tattoo that his dance partner, Katya Jones, inked on him during their practice sessions.
After the recent uproar about the “wandering hand” incident, the artist clarified that Katya has taken extra steps to maintain a positive outlook.
Wynne explained that although he didn’t believe in the supernatural, he had had a peculiar experience with his latest body art.
He said: ‘Katya put a temporary tattoo on my hand yesterday.
Initially, she applied a sticker, followed by adding water to it, but later removed it revealing no trace. We were somewhat disappointed as it seemed unsuccessful. However, this morning, while I was showering, the tattoo with the inscription “you are enough” mysteriously appeared on my arm.
‘I thought it was weird.’
Wynne confessed following a new round of scandal, stemming from an allegedly crude joke that he supposedly told backstage, which later became public knowledge.
52-year-old opera singer, involved in a scandal about inappropriate touching, jokingly commented that the extra flesh under his chin looked like female private parts while getting his makeup applied backstage.
It is alleged that Wynne made an off-color remark before the grand debut of the BBC competition, which occurred during a confidential chat with a makeup artist.
A source told The Mirror: ‘It was a bit of a vulgar dad joke.’
According to the report, there was at least one other individual present in the room during the incident, and it is important to note that the makeup artist did not take offense at Wynne’s joke.
It is said that while formal complaints were made, staff members were not amused.
The insider continued by saying: ‘Wynne wasn’t trying to cause harm, but one needs to exercise some caution nowadays.’
It’s been reported that a friend of Wynne’s described her playful remark as a “moment of self-mockery,” and they shared this privately with the makeup artist, even though other people were around.
TopMob have contacted representatives of Strictly and Wynne for comment.
The alleged joke came weeks before the Welsh singer and actor was embroiled in a ‘wandering hand’ incident with his professional partner Katya Jones.
Spectators noticed an awkward instance when Katya pulled Wynne’s hand off her side and declined his attempt for a friendly high-five.
For the past week, the dance partners had been justifying their unusual interaction that occurred on live television two weeks prior.
However, it was since reported that the BBC gave the pair an extra chaperone as a result.
Regardless of any debate, celebrities are embracing the Halloween vibe before this weekend’s live event, by posting about their deepest apprehensions instead.
Chris McCausland revealed that one of his biggest fears his seafood.
He mentioned: ‘I find it challenging to handle items that resemble their living state, especially since they are edible.’
In my mind, they seem to be much more unpleasant than their appearance suggests. I’d consume almost any dish that resembles a steak, but mussels are something I find difficult to appreciate.
The comedian, 47, went on to add that he’s also terrified of flying.
‘I can’t stand flying either actually. I’m a nightmare to sit next to.’ he said.
The uncertainty of whether we’re about to experience a crash is what’s causing my distress. If I knew for certain that a crash was imminent, I might find some solace in it, but the lack of knowledge makes me anxious every time there’s even the slightest turbulence. This constant unease leaves me unable to appreciate the tranquility around me, and I remain tense and restless at all times.
‘I’m always knackered by the time I get anywhere.’
As a passionate Halloween enthusiast, I can confess that my affection for this spooktacular holiday has grown even stronger as an adult. Now, my feline companion and I often tag along with our neighbors for some good old-fashioned trick-or-treating fun!
