Despite spending a lot of money to remove many of his tattoos, Pete Davidson recently got a new one on his face.
While performing in Las Vegas, the comedian quickly showed a glimpse of the name ‘Scottie’ written near his ear, hidden behind his sideburns.
Scottie was written in black all capital letters and displayed in a vertical way.
Kim Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend was casually dressed, including wearing Crocs, while performing in Las Vegas.
On Wednesday, he showed off his latest accessory: bright pink Crocs customized with Jibbitz charms featuring his own face. He wore them to a unique event in New York City celebrating the Crocs brand’s fun and creative spirit.
According to People magazine, the celebrity has reportedly spent six years and $200,000 trying to remove a lot of tattoos. A source said he simply decided one day he no longer wanted them and the removal has been an ongoing process for years.
Davidson opted to remove his tattoos as a ‘fresh start,’ a second insider told the outlet.
Oh my gosh, everything is just perfect for him right now! Seriously, he’s totally on the right track, and the reviews for his new movie? They’re incredible! Everyone is loving it, and it’s so deserved! I knew he’d kill it!
Pete Davidson recently shared on Today how painful it’s been to remove his tattoos, calling the process ‘pretty terrible’.
He advised anyone considering a tattoo to be absolutely sure, pointing to his own faded arm tattoo as an example of how they can disappear over time. ‘It’s pretty much gone now,’ he noted.
The actor started getting sober in 2020, and that motivated him to make big changes in his life, starting with how he looked.
Once I stopped drinking, I looked at myself and didn’t recognize the person staring back. I realized I needed to make some changes.
Davidson checked into a wellness facility to seek mental health treatment in late July.
In 2021, Pete Davidson revealed he was removing his tattoos because he believed it would help him land more acting jobs.
The actor explained on Seth Meyers’ show that he’s planning to get his tattoos removed because it currently takes three hours each day to cover them with makeup.
He shared that he never expected to become an actor, but he’s really enjoying it.
He explained that you need to arrive three hours early to hide any tattoos, as actors in movies generally don’t have many visible ones.
Pete said that removing his tattoo is actually more painful than getting it in the first place.
He told Seth, ‘So now I’m burning them off, but burning them off is worse than getting them.
He explained that the treatment not only burned the skin, but patients also wore large goggles that blocked their vision, leaving them reliant on the doctor who was present during the procedure.
Before getting a tattoo removed with a laser, he always asks you what the tattoo is so you can decide if you really want it gone.
I’d be relaxing, feeling the effects of the nitrous oxide, and then someone would suddenly ask about keeping a scene of Stewie Griffin smoking marijuana. Then I’d have to explain that we weren’t going to do that, as the show’s doctor.
