As a seasoned Overwatch fan with countless hours logged into the game, I can’t help but feel a thrill of excitement as the Overwatch Champion Series (OWCS) unveils its new Twitch drops for 2024! With my Battle.net and Twitch accounts synced, I eagerly await the chance to add these exclusive OWCS-themed items to my collection.

The OWCS has some new Twitch drops that you can add to your collection.

As a seasoned Overwatch player with years of experience under my belt, I always keep an eye out for new and exciting opportunities to enhance my gaming experience. That’s why I was thrilled to hear about the latest set of Twitch drops now available for the Overwatch Champion Series (OWCS). With the OWCS entering a fresh round of stages from August 11 to August 25, I can’t wait to see which teams will emerge victorious.

For the duration of Overwatch Contenders Stage 2 and 3, viewers have the opportunity to collect up to five distinct Twitch rewards. These range from a spray, an icon for your name, a name card, and even a Venture-themed skin. Unlike the Calling All Heroes Twitch drops, these are exclusively themed around Overwatch Contenders. To acquire them, simply tune into the official channels and watch for a specified duration of time.

Watchers can collect Twitch rewards proportionate to the duration they’ve watched a stream. Here’s a breakdown of the various prizes and the time needed to claim each one.

  • Watch for 2 hours –  OWCS 2024 player icon
  • Watch for 4 hours –  OWCS spray
  • Watch for 6 hours –  OWCS 2024 spray
  • Watch for 8 hours – OWCS 2024 player title
  • Watch for 10 hours – OWCS charm

How to unlock Overwatch 2 Twitch and Youtube drops

Claiming and unlocking the OWCS Twitch drops is simple and easy. Here’s how to do so:

  1. Connect your Twitch and Battle.net or Steam accounts
  2. Watch OWCS on an eligible Twitch channel
  3. Once you’ve watched enough, you’ll see a notification about your inventory
  4. Head to the inventory page and then claim the item
  5. Just log in to Overwatch 2 and your reward should be there

As for linking Battle.net to Youtube:

  1. Log in to your YouTube account
  2. Head over to the settings page
  3. Click on the “Connected Apps” tab
  4. Press the “Connect” button located next to Battle.net
  5. Watch OWCS on an eligible YouTube channel

During ongoing Overwatch Contenders Series stages, Twitch drops are available. So, don’t forget to watch live and collect your prizes!
