Netflix releases trailer for Lindsay Lohan’s new Christmas rom-com
As a seasoned gamer of romantic comedies and a devotee of all things Christmas, I eagerly await the arrival of Our Little Secret on my screen next month. With Lindsay Lohan back in the game after her stellar performance in Falling for Christmas, this film promises to be a heartwarming, laugh-out-loud festive treat.
The initial trailer for “Our Hidden Gem,” a fresh Christmas romantic comedy featuring Lindsay Lohan, has been released.
As a gamer, I’m excited about the upcoming movie on Netflix, where I find myself, like two former lovers portrayed by Lohan and Ian Harding, stuck spending Christmas together due to an unexpected twist: our new partners turn out to be siblings.
Before it hits Netflix on November 27, the initial trailer unveils Lohan’s character, Avery, meeting the expansive family of her partner, Cameron (Jon Rudnitsky), who she describes as quite big.
After being playfully teased by Erica, Cameron’s mom (played by Kristin Chenoweth), Avery attends the party. There, to her surprise, she discovers that her former boyfriend Logan (portrayed by Harding) – who had proposed a decade ago but was rejected by her – is now in a relationship with Cameron’s sister Cassie (Katie Baker).
Moving forward, my ex and I decide to conceal our past relationship, which could prove challenging as Erica grows increasingly curious. There seems to be a whirlwind of events on the horizon, hinting at some playful antics between us. Additionally, there might even be sparks flying again between Avery and Logan when it comes to their old romance.
Besides the previously mentioned actors, I’m also excited to be joining forces with Jake Brennan, Tim Meadows, Dan Bucatinsky, and Judy Reyes in our upcoming game, “Our Little Secret”. Stephen Herek is directing this project, while Hailey DeDominicis has crafted an engaging script for us to bring to life.
In a departure from other holiday-themed romantic comedies, Lindsay Lohan isn’t making her first appearance in one for the streaming platform. Critics praised her portrayal in “Falling for Christmas” which was released in 2022.
Although “Our Little Secret” is still about a month off, Lindsay Lohan has been spotted in “Freakier Friday,” Disney’s much-anticipated follow-up to “Freaky Friday.” The sneak peek featured Lohan and fellow actor Jamie Lee Curtis reenacting a well-known pose from the initial movie that debuted in 2003.
On August 8, 2025, the movie titled “Freakier Friday” will be out. In this story, Tess Curtis and Anna Lohan find themselves in a situation where it seems lightning might strike twice, as they face various hurdles that come with two families blending together.
