Modest Mouse announces new album and fall tour dates – All the dates to know

Modest Mouse is gearing up for a full return after a hiatus since their 2021 album, The Golden Casket. They’re releasing a new record called An Eraser and a Maze in 2026, and will be touring extensively, with shows planned for both the summer and fall.

The band’s latest album comes out on June 5th. It was produced by Isaac Brock, the singer of Modest Mouse, along with collaborators like Jackknife Lee and Suzy Shinn. They started working on it right after their 2021 album, and decided to create a complete album rather than releasing smaller collections of songs.

The band released their first single, “Look How Far…”, in March. It had the energetic sound fans expect from Modest Mouse. They followed that up with a second single, “Picking Dragon’s Pocket,” when they announced the release date for their new album.

The song has a cheerful energy, and Bruce sounds great. Longtime fans of the band will likely really enjoy the new album.

The tour kicks off in mid-September and continues through late October. We’ve also added two shows in Seattle this July.
