Michelle Keegan shared some stylish photos from her recent work trip to Los Angeles on Instagram on Sunday.
The 37-year-old actress, known for her role on Coronation Street, wore a simple but chic black halter top and sunglasses.
The star showed off her fit stomach in a crop top and paired it with white trousers that had a short skirt layered over them.
The actress finished her summery outfit with black flip-flops and posed for photos at an Estée Lauder event.
She captioned the post: ‘A work trip never looked so good…’.
She also posted pictures of the lovely weather, tasty meals, and gorgeous sunsets, seemingly to show off and maybe even make her followers a little envious.
Michelle’s trip is happening while people are speculating about her career plans in Los Angeles. There’s talk she’s getting ready to star in the movie adaptation of a new novel by Reese Witherspoon and Harlan Coben, and it looks like things are starting to move forward with that project.
Harlan and Reese have teamed up to write the new crime thriller Gone Before Goodbye.
Because Michelle previously collaborated with Harlan on the adaptation of ‘Fool Me Once’, Reese is reportedly interested in having her work on this new project as well.
The story centers around a strong-willed woman caught in a complex plot she unintentionally helped start, but now struggles to make sense of.
Maggie is on a dangerous quest to uncover a hidden conspiracy within the powerful and secretive world of the global elite, and the search is taking a terrible personal toll.
The Daily Mail have contacted Michelle and Reese’s representatives for comment.
Last week, Michelle shared a quick update with her followers, showing she’d arrived in Florida and was grabbing lunch after her trip.
She looked effortlessly stylish in a cropped broderie anglaise shirt with a dramatic collar.
Michelle paired the standout item with light-wash jeans and finished the look with oval sunglasses.
The actress played the role of Maya Stern in the Netflix series Fool Me Once, which is based on a novel by Harlan Coben and also stars Joanna Lumley. The show quickly became a global hit, reaching the top of Netflix’s most-watched list.
Harlan has often praised the actor’s abilities and has expressed interest in collaborating with Michelle again in the future.
After her character died in Fool Me Once, Harlan Coben was so upset he desperately searched for any possible storyline – even an unlikely one – that could bring her back for a second season.
Someone familiar with Michelle’s situation shared with the Daily Mail that she and Harlan became close while filming “Fool Me Once,” and he is very impressed with her.
‘He believes Michelle is a big part of the show’s stratospheric success.
Harlan recently confessed at the National Television Awards that he deeply regretted killing off her character and would do whatever it takes to revive her for a sequel they’ve both wanted for a long time.
