Former Sunrise star Melissa Doyle looks tense at the airport with her husband John Dunlop after couple celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary

Everyone knows that travel can be stressful and exhausting.

Mel Doyle appeared stressed as she arrived at Sydney Airport with her husband, John Dunlop, on Wednesday.

The former host of Sunrise and her partner, who she’s been with for more than 30 years, seemed a little distant while waiting for a ride.

For her flight, Mel chose a relaxed yet stylish outfit: a denim skirt that hit around the knee and a navy tank top.

The host of Smooth FM’s weekend breakfast show paired a Louis Vuitton bag with leather Birkenstock sandals.

I’ve noticed this couple has been doing a lot of traveling recently – it looks like they were even at the Australian Open on Friday! They definitely seem to be enjoying life on the go.

Melissa recently celebrated her 30th wedding anniversary with her husband.

I was so touched when I saw the lovely message the newsreader shared last November! She really opened up about how much her husband means to her, celebrating a special anniversary. It was a really sweet and genuine tribute.

She posted a throwback photo of the pair on their wedding day.

’30 fabulous years of being your better half – lucky you,’ she wrote.

‘Happy anniversary @johndunlop Love you xx.’

She and the sports marketing executive share two children – a daughter, Natalia, and son, Nicholas. 

Melissa reflected on their successful marriage during an interview back in 2020.

We’re not the type of couple to overanalyze every little detail,” she told Stellar magazine.

‘We both had the same goal, which was to have a comfortable, happy life,’ she added. 

Melissa recently hosted Oprah Winfrey’s highly anticipated Australian tour.

The experienced television personality left her position as co-host of Sunrise in 2013 and later that year, in October, began hosting programs on Smooth FM.
