However, some stars, like Tyler, the Creator, Young Thug, and JT, have consistently skipped the Met Gala, despite their strong sense of style.

Tyler, the Creator
Tyler, the Creator is known for his unique and influential style, so it always raises eyebrows when he doesn’t attend the Met Gala. He’s been very focused on fashion lately, with standout looks for his Marty Supreme promotion, his DON’T TAP THE GLASS clothing line, and through his GOLF WANG brand.
Young Thug

Playboi Carti used to be known for staying out of the public eye, but since releasing his album MUSIC, he’s been appearing more and more in the mainstream. Many are wondering if this will be the year he finally attends the Met Gala.
Nettspend
A popular young fashion icon walked the runway at a major Gucci show this year, and is also making a name for himself in the streetwear world. He’s quickly becoming a fixture at important industry events, like those held at The Mark Hotel.
