Married Celebs Go Dating sex expert Dr Tara reveals she has secret boyfriend in London as she lifts the lid on non-conventional open marriage

Dr. Tara Suwinyattichaiporn, the sex expert from Celebs Go Dating, has shared details about her open marriage and revealed she’s currently dating someone secretly in London.

The 37-year-old sexologist, who appeared on the E4 dating show in 2023, married American artist Brent Estabrook that same year.

Dr. Tara has previously been upfront about their relationship, characterizing their marriage as ‘monogamish,’ meaning they have an understanding that allows both partners to explore sexual connections with others.

She’s shared more details about their relationship, revealing that she’s now seeing someone else – she met him at a bar.

Dr. Tara, a Los Angeles resident who frequently travels to the UK for work, recently shared with The Sun that she is currently in a relationship with a husband in Los Angeles and a boyfriend in London.

We were playfully talking about the funny situation where my husband takes me to the airport in Los Angeles, and then my boyfriend is the one who picks me up when I arrive in London.

She explained that being with him felt different than being with her husband, but she loves them both equally, as they are both her partners.

‘I actually now go back and forth between LA and London.

I’ve been visiting this place often, even when we’re not filming ‘Celebs Go Dating,’ because he’s here too, and we enjoy spending time together.

‘I would say I spent half my time with my husband, half my time with my boyfriend here.’ 

She shared with OK! Magazine that her husband was initially hesitant about an open relationship, but they were able to find a solution that suited both of them.

Dr. Tara explained that successful relationships require deep self-awareness. It’s important to understand your own triggers, as well as those of your partner, and to honestly assess your own limits and capabilities.

‘Red flags would be, for example, no kissing strangers, because that can be seen as more romantic. 

Ugh, seriously, dating a friend? No way! It’s just…imagine seeing them after it goes wrong! So awkward! I couldn’t even think about doing that, it would ruin everything.

‘And always using protection. 

I prefer not to see the same person repeatedly, as it’s easy to develop feelings for them.

‘But for some of my clients, they see the same person regularly.’

The 15th series of the dating show returns to our screens on 4 May 2026. 

Dr. Tara is back, joining Anna Williamson and Paul Carrick Brunson to help celebrities find love on the show.

This year’s cast includes Coleen Nolan, David Potts, Gabby Allen, James Haskell, Lucinda Light, PK Humble, and Professor Green.

Dr. Tara explained that she hadn’t met anyone from this year’s cast before arriving.

Okay, so everyone here seems to know these people, which is amazing! Honestly, back home, I hadn’t really paid them much attention until I moved here. Now I’m completely obsessed and trying to catch up on everything I missed – seriously, where have they been all my life?!

After learning about these people, I developed a deep respect for them, their work, and the challenges they’ve overcome.

I was really excited when I first saw the team – it was great to see people of all ages and with a wide range of backgrounds and abilities, including neurodiversity and different experiences with sexuality and relationships like polyamory.

‘So I was excited about that.’ 

When asked about surprising people, she explained that PK was the most shocking – she said they were all completely stunned by him.

I don’t approve of his relationships with multiple women. Despite that, he comes from a good family, is kind, and treats us with respect.

You know, I’ve been watching him, and I’m really impressed with how much he’s grown. He’s showing a really sensitive and kind side to himself that I hadn’t fully seen before, and it’s wonderful to witness.

‘He just needs to show that more towards women and on dates.’
