Kyle Sandilands has shocked his supporters by announcing that he’s returning with an all-new show.
Kyle Sandilands, currently involved in a legal dispute with his previous employer, ARN, following the end of his radio show in February, announced some news late Wednesday night through his official fan page on Instagram.
‘Let me tell you a little secret… shhhh, don’t tell anyone,’ the 54-year-old began.
I’m excited to share that I’m starting a new project, and I’ll be revealing details soon. I’m taking a break to focus on it, and I’ll be back with something even better than before!
Sandilands didn’t share details about his new project, but photos showed him in a recording studio with a sign that said ‘Kyle Sandilands Live,’ suggesting it may be a live broadcast.
The radio host then thanked his manager, Bruno Bouchet, for his continued support, even though he hadn’t been compensated for his work.
Sandilands jokingly revealed that Bruno was complimenting his appearance despite not currently being paid to do so. He said, ‘That’s Bruno. He’s paid to say that, well actually he’s not paid at the moment!,’ after Bruno told him he was looking good.
Kyle shared that he’s been focusing on his health recently, and he’s started a new diet where he only eats grapes and boiled eggs for breakfast.
The Instagram Reel featured an exclusive message from Kyle, sparking speculation about a possible return to podcasting or radio. Fans are excited to find out what’s next!
A sign visible behind Kyle in the video revealed that his new show, ‘Kyle Sandilands Live’, will be broadcast live. This suggests the show will air as it’s being recorded.
Sandilands did not however specify when this new project would launch.
This news follows reports that the radio personality is willing to negotiate a settlement with ARN, as both he and his former co-host, Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, face upcoming court dates.
According to a source speaking to news.com.au, Kyle Sandilands wants to settle his dispute quickly and would be open to a fair offer from his previous workplace.
The source said he’d be open to a settlement if it felt fair and prevented him from being completely taken advantage of, saying, ‘Yeah, if the amount was reasonable.’
He’s a fair person, and he’s willing to fight for what he believes in, but everyone wants to avoid a legal battle.
According to the source, Sandilands didn’t want to get into a long legal fight and wasn’t willing to listen to any further negative statements about himself, especially those made in Henderson’s recent court filing.
The possibility of costly legal fees could also motivate both sides to settle the issue quickly.
‘Kyle and Jackie are playing with their own money here,’ the source said.
As a huge fan, I’ve been hearing rumors that Kyle Sandilands might be considering going back to his old breakfast slot on KIIS FM – but only if he and ARN can come to an agreement. It’s exciting to think he could be back in that familiar spot!
According to the source, Sandilands is considering future projects and possible new radio partners in case Henderson doesn’t want to work with him again.
Rumors are flying about who Sandilands might be dating, and one source suggests Sophie Monk would be a natural fit.
Someone mentioned that when Kyle returns to the show, Sophie might be his new co-host. They described her as wonderful to work with, friendly, and generous when she’s on the air.
The court battle between Sandilands and ARN was raging on this week.
Last Tuesday, Australian Radio Network (ARN), operating through its company Commonwealth Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), filed a lawsuit against both Kyle Sandilands and Jackie Henderson, who is 51 years old.
According to reports, Sandilands fostered such a negative work environment that Henderson decided never to collaborate with him again.
According to a source familiar with the situation, Kyle Sandilands wasn’t told about any complaints or official warnings regarding his conduct.
Look, let me tell you, absolutely nothing was ever said to Kyle about how he was treating Jackie. Not one word. I’ve been following this so closely, and I can promise you, no one ever addressed it with him directly. It’s just… unbelievable!
A crucial part of ARN’s legal case is a letter sent to Kyle Sandilands on December 12, 2025. This letter from network management instructed him to follow the company’s workplace safety and behavior rules.
The source said the letter was connected to a decision made by the Australian Communications and Media Authority in October 2025, which found the Kyle & Jackie O show had violated broadcasting rules.
According to a source, ARN was proactively creating content guidelines to avoid potential issues with the ACMA. This effort wasn’t related to Jackie at all.
ARN’s legal claim mentions that both Henderson and her manager, Gemma O’Neill, reported alleged bullying by Sandilands to ARN’s management. However, it doesn’t show that these complaints were ever shared with Sandilands himself.
According to a source, Sandilands’ lawyers are reviewing many hours of the Kyle & Jackie O show, looking for instances of disagreements between the two that the radio station publicized.
This supports the idea, presented in Sandilands’ legal claim, that the playful arguments and underlying friction between the two individuals were a key part of what made the show work.
ARN claims the February 20th on-air argument that led to the firing of both Henderson and Sandilands wasn’t a one-time event, but part of a pattern of behavior.
The company states that Sandilands’ damaged relationship with Ms. Henderson resulted from ongoing bullying and harassment he subjected her to at work, which she had previously reported. They claim this behavior was a significant violation of his employment contract.
The source indicated that ARN was at fault because Sandilands apparently wasn’t told about any supposed misconduct.
If people are only now bringing up these supposedly terrible things Kyle did, doesn’t that suggest ARN should have addressed these concerns with him much sooner?
According to a source close to the situation, Sandilands remains willing to reach an agreement with ARN, but is ready to pursue legal action for as long as it takes – even years – if a settlement can’t be reached.
Daily Mail has reached out to Kyle Sandilands’ representatives for comment.
Sandilands and Henderson are suing the broadcaster, claiming they were wrongly fired. The broadcaster, in turn, is fighting the lawsuit, alleging that the pair caused significant financial damage after a public argument on air led to the downfall of their popular show in February.
Court records show the close friendship – built over two decades of working together on the air – had actually broken down months before, following a major disagreement behind the scenes last September.
The CBC claims Sandilands spoke disrespectfully to Henderson during a live argument, an event she also mentioned in her legal claim against the network.
Both stars are now suing their previous employer, claiming they were unfairly fired. Kyle Sandilands is seeking $85 million in damages, while Jackie Henderson is asking for $82 million.
These surprisingly high amounts are what the two individuals claim they are still owed after their contracts were terminated. Those contracts were previously worth approximately $10 million annually for each of them.
The company strongly denies Sandilands’ claim that his firing was illegal, and also refutes Henderson’s statement that she was let go for requesting a safe and healthy work environment.
The February on‑air explosion is also alleged to have breached the NSW Work Health and Safety Act.
