Charlize Theron, 50, rules out sharing her home with a future partner and vows her ‘kids come first’ – after detailing an ‘amazing’ sexual encounter with a 26-year old man

Charlize Theron doesn’t plan on moving in with anyone else anytime soon, as she’s focused on raising her two young children.

The actress has two adopted daughters, Jackson, age 14, and August, age 11, and is currently single. She previously had well-known relationships with actors Sean Penn and Stuart Townsend, and musician Stephan Jenkins.

Theron admits she doesn’t want to be in a conventional relationship again, even though her kids are pushing her to try casual dating.

The actress, age 50, shared on The Drew Barrymore Show that her children are now old enough to be happy she’s dating and even want to hear about it.

It’s amusing how I initially worried they’d be upset by this, but now they’re actually encouraging me, asking if I’m getting texts and telling me to go on the date!

She was very serious when she said she doesn’t think she could ever live with another person again, even though some people think she’s always joking. She’d like to stay close to him – maybe even live nearby, like in the house next door – but she’s unsure if she’s ready for that kind of commitment.

Theron mentioned she might reconsider where she lives after her daughters move out.

I’ve been listening to her, and it seems like having her daughters at home is a big part of what’s going on for her right now. She’s hinted that things might shift when they’ve all flown the nest, but she really knows what she wants, and it’s quite specific. It’s like she has a very clear picture in her head of what she’s looking for.

The actress revealed she had a sexual encounter with a 26-year-old during a recent, open conversation on the Call Her Daddy podcast.

Charlize Theron said she’s only had a few casual encounters – around three, she estimates. She recently had a particularly enjoyable sexual experience with a 26-year-old.

The mother-of-two added: ‘I’ve never done that. And I was like, “Oh, this is great. OK.”

Theron said that she was ‘having the kind of sex I never had in my twenties or in my thirties.’

She said that recent experiences have been thrilling, but she isn’t longing for a romantic relationship. She feels she doesn’t miss the kind of close connection people often crave, especially given her unique position.

Theron adopted Jackson in 2012 and August three years later.

The Academy Award-winning actress has said she always intended to adopt, a desire stemming from her childhood experiences in South Africa.

She shared with PEOPLE magazine that she always made sure her partners knew, even while dating, that she planned to build her family through adoption.

‘This was definitely not a second option for me. It was always my first.’

In an interview with ELLE, she discussed how her upbringing in South Africa during apartheid shaped her approach to raising her daughters in the US, making her particularly sensitive to issues of equality and human rights.

I’m a parent to two Black children, and raising them with pride has always been important to me. It’s difficult to even begin to discuss the challenges of the past year under the current administration.

As someone who observes societal trends, I’m seeing clearly that racism isn’t a thing of the past – it’s very much present and impacting lives. It’s time we all acknowledge this reality and, more importantly, start speaking up about it. Ignoring it simply isn’t an option anymore.

There are certain areas in the US where I wouldn’t want to work or even visit with my children, and that’s a serious concern.
