Kyle became irritated following a complaint from a listener in Melbourne about the frequency of games aired during the program.

On radio station KIIS 1065, The Kyle & Jackie O Show garnered a 13.7% audience share and drew in approximately 735,000 listeners every week in Sydney.
In Melbourne’s market, they possess a 5.2% share and draw approximately 420,000 listeners weekly as the capital city of Victoria tunes in.
