Kim Kardashian is making her Broadway debut as a producer with the new play, The Fear of 13. Known for her reality TV show and work on criminal justice reform, Kardashian is joining Seaview, Wessex Grove, and Gavin Kalin Productions as a co-producer on the production.

The play, directed by David Cromer, stars Adrien Brody – in his first Broadway appearance – and Tessa Thompson. It tells the story of Nick Yarris (played by Brody), a man who spent 22 years on death row, and Jackie (played by Thompson), a volunteer who visits him.

Kim Kardashian explained that her work on criminal justice reform is deeply personal. She believes that sharing individual stories is a powerful way to bring about change, and that’s why she’s proud to be producing ‘The Fear of 13’ on Broadway. The play tells the true story of Nick Yarris, who was wrongly convicted and spent twenty years in prison, highlighting the flaws in the system that led to his imprisonment. Kardashian sees this project as a meaningful debut as a Broadway producer.

Currently in previews, the new play The Fear of 13 will officially open on April 15th at the James Earl Jones Theatre on Broadway.
