I’m A Celeb’s Barry McGuigan lands back in the UK with his wife Sandra after his stint in the jungle

His recent stint in the I’m A Celebrity jungle, followed by his quick return to the UK, showcases his ability to bounce back from challenges with grace and determination – a trait he honed throughout his successful boxing career.

On Wednesday, Barry McGuigan returned to the United Kingdom following his time in the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! jungle.

The seasoned boxer, now 63 years old, was greeted at Heathrow Airport by his spouse Sandra upon their return after a lengthy trip.

Barry was removed from the competition only a few days prior to the finale, along with fellow contestant Maura Higgins, as they had failed to secure immunity during the Final Challenge at the House of Hardship.

Regardless of the extended flight duration, I donned an impeccable navy blue wool coat and matching trousers, complemented by a sweater beneath, ensuring my attire was neat and polished.

As they strolled together, Sandra exuded elegance wearing a set of leopard-patterned pants matched with a black blouse and a beige sweater.

Barry pushed a trolley full of luggage through the airport 

His arrival comes a few days after his son, Shane, 36, was rushed to hospital.

Sharing an update to his Instagram Story, alongside a picture of himself with a cannula, Shane wrote: ‘It’s 1 thing after another atm.’

He did not go into any further detail about his medical condition.

A skilled coach specializing in boxing has been active in this field ever since his dad sparked his interest during his teenage years. Now, he runs a gym based in South West London and trains athletes there.

Apart from his other accomplishments, he has been linked romantically with Maura, a former Love Island contestant, who recently co-starred with his father on I’m A Celebrity this year.

Shane is betrothed to the singer, Taylor West, and the couple has two boys – Finley George and Caelan James – as their offspring.

In a previous encounter, he crossed paths with Maura while she was performing her duties as a ring girl. More recently, he mentioned catching sight of his father and an old flame appearing together on the screen.

On Good Morning Britain, he stated, “Both Maura and I are from rural areas. She hails from a quaint town in Ireland, much like myself.

He mentioned: ‘Since they were raised in a tiny town, it’s likely that they share some common experiences.’

Last week, I was unfortunately voted off I’m A Celebrity, but I’m still here in Australia, joining my fellow campmates for the grand finale.

He was voted off in a shock double elimination alongside former Dancing on Ice contestant Maura.

As a fervent devotee, bursting with excitement, I couldn’t help but feel that deep-seated conviction in my heart – the one I call my ‘gut feeling.’ And true to form, it led me here! In my farewell chat with Ant and Dec, I shared my joy, saying, “I’ve been waiting for this moment, I knew it was coming, and my gut feeling? It never lets me down.

I didn’t anticipate becoming so fond of it, but I’ve grown quite attached. Every moment has been delightful. It’s incredible to see the impact it has on me.
