I’m A Celebrity’s Scarlett Moffatt says she’s ‘gutted’ it’s an all-male final after she is eliminated: ‘I wanted to do it for the girls!’

Scarlett Moffatt admitted she was devastated to leave I’m A Celebrity, leaving an all-male final

The celebrity was voted off the show on Thursday after finishing last in the ‘Keep Your Eye on the Ball’ challenge.

Scarlett, 35, was very disappointed to have to withdraw at the last moment. This leaves Mo Farah, 43, Harry Redknapp, 79, Adam Thomas, 37, and Craig Charles, 61, as the remaining contenders for the public to vote for as the ‘Legend’.

She expressed her disappointment that the final four contestants were all men, explaining she’d hoped to represent women in the competition. She jokingly said she’d let them have their fun talking about football.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve seen some unusual challenges, but this one was particularly fascinating! The celebrities were each isolated in their own little booths, and then had to keep track of colored balls – red, blue, and I believe yellow – as they zoomed through these clear tubes. The trick? They were bombarded with distractions while trying to accurately count each color! It really tested their focus and ability to stay calm under pressure.

Scarlett started crying when Ant and Dec told her she was the furthest away from the correct answer and had to leave the show right away.

The TV star, who was the winner in 2016, said her recent experience in South Africa reminded her of when she first started out.

She admitted to feeling like a fraud in the past. At twenty-five, she was still figuring out her identity and where she belonged, which was enjoyable but also often overwhelming.

‘Whereas this time around, I know who I am so I just enjoyed it and went in there less intimidated.

What I’ll remember most are the conversations around the campfire. There’s so much time to just talk and think without any distractions. Sir Mo Farah is an incredible person. I was really struck by how forgiving and kind he is – he’s honestly inspired me to be a better person.

Scarlett explained that things went more smoothly this time because everyone brought their unique personalities and a sense of calm. Having experienced it before, the group wasn’t as stressed or anxious, and they were all comfortable with how things worked at camp.

Scarlett said she wanted Mo to be crowned Legend in the live final, set to air on Friday night.

You know, even if I’d reached the final round, I would have wholeheartedly encouraged people to vote for Mo instead of me. Honestly, I believe in putting the best person forward, and in my opinion, that was Mo. It’s just how I approach things – prioritizing what’s best overall, even if it means stepping aside. It’s about sportsmanship and recognizing true talent, and I always try to lead by example.

‘Nobody deserves it as much as him. I really do hope he wins.’

Ant and Dec have announced that all of the contestants from this year’s I’m A Celebrity will be at the live final on Friday, despite a series full of challenges.

The show, which was filmed in South Africa last September, has been on UTV for the past few weeks, and the winner will be announced this Friday.

This follows the recent controversy involving David Haye and Adam Thomas, and uncertainty about Jimmy Bullard’s participation after a disagreement with Adam, which led to Jimmy leaving the show earlier this week.

Ant and Dec provided an update on the upcoming final during an appearance at the ITV Showcase event in London on Thursday evening.

During a recent question-and-answer session, Dec mentioned that the live final is happening tomorrow night and promised it will be exciting. He said they’re bringing all the contestants back together, and it seems everyone is planning to be there.

‘They are all coming, we are not in the Whatsapp group, but we will see how it goes…’.

News broke on Tuesday that the show’s finale was in disarray. Jimmy was threatened with a 20 percent cut to his payment if he didn’t participate.

People didn’t expect the 47-year-old former footballer to appear, especially after his big fight with Adam.

During filming in South Africa last year, Jimmy and Adam had a disagreement during a Bushtucker Trial. Jimmy wouldn’t participate, which threatened Adam’s position on the show because they were working as a team.

Adam did end up remaining however, while Jimmy left after their blazing row.

The I’m A Celebrity final airs on Friday on ITV and ITVX at 9pm.
