Someone who attended the live finale of ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’ says there was even more drama during the show than viewers saw on TV on Friday.
The final show quickly became chaotic when Jimmy Bullard claimed Adam Thomas, who ultimately won, was behaving in a harmful, forceful, and frightening way. Things escalated further as David Haye launched into an angry outburst, and both Gemma Collins and Sinitta angrily walked off the stage.
One fan shared on Instagram that they witnessed former boxer David, who had previously been accused of bullying Adam, attempt to reconcile by offering a handshake.
She compared the on-stage argument to a chaotic scene from the Jerry Springer show, and it was so upsetting that Ashley Roberts and Scarlett Moffatt were both crying during the break in filming.
You didn’t realize that after David first heckled Adam, he went over to greet all four finalists on the sofa. But Adam completely refused to shake his hand, making it clear he didn’t want anything to do with it.
Jimmy Bullard discussed his contract and why he left the camp, but David kept interrupting, causing the audience to boo him.
That’s when Sinitta became upset and left the stage, telling the audience, “You didn’t see what happened – it was really harsh and frightening.” Gemma Collins then also walked off, and Ashley and Scarlett both started to cry. It was total chaos.
Before claiming there was trouble backstage during a break, she said the performers came back appearing very upset.
Although she won, the emotional Adam appeared devastated and seemed eager to leave the stage, quickly exiting after the results were announced.
Daily Mail have contacted ITV for comment.
Footage from the ‘I’m A Celeb’ finale reportedly shows Adam destroying his crown and throwing it on the ground after David provoked him.
The winning contestant on the soap opera spoke with Jimmy after a heated argument where she reportedly used a highly offensive slur. This happened after Jimmy failed a challenge on ‘I’m a Celebrity,’ putting Adam at risk of elimination.
Some new video reportedly shows Adam taking off his crown and throwing it on the ground.
According to The Sun, David apparently provoked Adam, leading to a confrontation. The boxer is said to have told the Emmerdale actor he didn’t deserve to win.
In response, Adam reportedly said: ‘This is bullying.’
The publication also reported that Gemma, a friend of Adam’s, described David with a harsh insult and labeled both the boxer and footballer Jimmy as damaging to the reputation of reality television.
The Daily Mail has contacted ITV and representatives for Adam, David and Gemma for comment.
Caroline shared photos from her trip to London, explaining that things didn’t go as planned at the beginning. After a long journey involving four trains and a two-and-a-half-hour taxi ride, plus a memorable night, she was finally there and looking forward to what’s next.
I really enjoyed a lovely two-night stay at one of my favorite hotels with my partner, complete with plenty of room service and tea!
During filming last year, Gemma Collins left the set following Sinitta, after Jimmy confronted Adam, accusing him of being abusive, aggressive, and intimidating during a heated argument filled with strong language.
The singer, known for her song ‘Toy Boy’, publicly backed Jimmy, telling the crowd that she witnessed a frightening situation. She described the event as aggressive and abusive, saying she and others were visibly shaken.
Jimmy explained he was leaving the show for private reasons and wouldn’t be fully compensated if he didn’t say the show’s catchphrase during the challenge.
Jimmy acknowledged he upset people, particularly Adam, and admitted he handled the situation poorly. However, he firmly stated he won’t tolerate abusive, aggressive, or intimidating behavior.
Jimmy turned to Ant and Dec, asking why they hadn’t shown the footage during their broadcast. He said, ‘You were both there, but you didn’t include any of that in what you showed.’
‘You didn’t show any of the C-bombs, it’s a liberty’, Jimmy fumed.
Ant explained they didn’t broadcast the offensive word because it’s not allowed on air. He added that he was present during the incident and didn’t find it threatening, reiterating to Jim that he had witnessed it firsthand.
Adam stated he fully accepts responsibility for what happened, acknowledging that emotions were strong at the time.
I genuinely care about Jimmy and feel badly about what happened. I’ve apologized to him many times, and I’m listening to his concerns. All I can do now is offer another apology.
I wasn’t comfortable presenting myself that way, and I haven’t done so before or since. I apologize, Jimmy.
David made a joking comment, but Ant and Dec quickly told him to stop interrupting.
David explained that he prefers to be honest and direct. He believes there’s been a lot of manipulation to portray Adam as a victim in order to gain public sympathy.
There was a lot of playful teasing between us, though much of it wasn’t shown on their end. Now, I feel it’s time to share what really happened.
