Henry Cavill & Alexandra Daddario’s Intense Crime Thriller Officially Sets Free Streaming Release Date

Movie fans are in for a treat! Henry Cavill and Alexandra Daddario’s new crime thriller will be available to watch for free on a streaming platform soon.

Henry Cavill has appeared in several big-budget films. He’s most famous for playing Superman/Clark Kent in the Man of Steel movies, but he’s also been in a Mission: Impossible film and the recent The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare.

Henry Cavill’s lesser-known movie, Night Hunter, is coming to streaming soon! Starting May 1st, you’ll be able to watch it for free on Pluto TV.

Compared to the big-budget films Henry Cavill is known for, Night Hunter is a much smaller project. It’s a crime thriller with a lower budget, directed by newcomer David Raymond. The film had a limited release in theaters and earned just over $1 million.

Henry Cavill stars as Detective Walter Marshall in a mystery about a woman found dead after apparently escaping from being held captive. As Marshall investigates, the case connects to other disappearances, leading them to a suspect – but they begin to question whether he’s truly guilty.

Henry Cavill stars alongside Alexandra Daddario, who plays police profiler Rachel Chase. The film also features a strong supporting cast including Ben Kingsley, Stanley Tucci, Minka Kelly, Nathan Fillion, Emma Tremblay, and Brendan Fletcher. However, despite its impressive cast, Night Hunter wasn’t well-received when it came out in 2018.

The movie wasn’t well-received by critics, earning a low 14% score on Rotten Tomatoes. While audiences were a little more positive, they were still divided, giving it a 50% approval rating. Overall, the film received largely negative feedback.

Despite mixed reactions from the small audience it had, the biggest issue with Night Hunter was simply that not many people saw it. Those who are fans of Henry Cavill or Alexandra Daddario might have been more willing to overlook the film’s flaws and enjoy its plot twists.

Now, Night Hunter has a chance to overcome its initial failure. Because it’s being released on Pluto TV for free, more people might be willing to give it a watch. We’ll see if it can attract a new audience when it starts streaming next week.
