And now, the show’s adding Jesus into the mix, which I’m sure will stir up some debate – but honestly, after everything else, I wouldn’t expect anything less from Good Omens.

In 2019, the group Return to Order launched a petition asking for the cancellation of the show Good Omens. They initially sent it to Netflix by mistake, but it was meant for Prime Video. The petition objected to the show’s depiction of demons and Satanists as seemingly positive figures, and took issue with a female voice being used for a character representing divine wisdom. Given these past reactions, it’s likely that the portrayal of Jesus in season 3 of Good Omens will also generate some debate and criticism.
