Furious Colin Fassnidge goes on wild expletive rant after he is criticised for his ‘greasy hair’

Chef Colin Fassnidge responded to online criticism after people made negative comments about his hair, calling it ‘greasy’.

The 52-year-old star of My Kitchen Rules recently responded angrily to criticism about his appearance, after people commented that he looked older and had gained weight.

Posting the clip to Facebook, the outspoken foodie called out his social media foes, calling them ‘nasty and bored’.

‘Thought of the day,’ Colin began in the clip, which has attracted 3.1K likes.

Okay, so a few years back, I somehow got locked out of my Facebook account. Honestly, it was a nightmare! Then, just as suddenly, I was back in! I have no idea why – Facebook is a mystery, honestly, but I was thrilled to be back, of course!

I’m not going to engage with those unpleasant and frankly, irritating comments. They’re coming from people with a lot of privilege who seem to just want to cause trouble, but I’m pushing forward anyway.

Colin then appeared to quote some of the vile messages he has received on the platform.

He said: ‘Jesus, “your hair’s greasy, you’re fat, you’re looking old”.’

Colin shared that people on Facebook have criticized his new collaboration with Manu Feildel on their Channel Seven travel show, ‘Off the Grid with Colin and Manu’.

Colin bluntly criticized the show, calling it and the person he was speaking to, along with their food, terrible. He then added that some of the people present could benefit from dental work and skincare.

In a recent video taken while he was out walking, Colin – sporting just a touch of grey in his beard – appeared to be in good health and shape.

Colin’s post attracted many messages of support from his followers.

One person told them, “You’re the best!” Another added, “I love you! Your cooking is fantastic, and you look great!”

A third person offered some advice, ‘F**k ’em, mate.’

Despite the positive attention, the post also received some negative feedback, and at least one commenter seemed to make fun of the chef’s frustration.

‘Your hair’s greasy, and you’re just s**t lol… Grumpy old fart.’

The video has attracted 194K views since it dropped on Tuesday.

It comes after Colin was charged with driving under the influence of cocaine when he was stopped for drug and alcohol testing on November 8.

At approximately 3:20 PM, officers from the Traffic and Highway Patrol Command tested the TV presenter for alcohol while he was driving a grey ute on Malabar Road in South Maroubra.

The test allegedly returned a positive result for cocaine.

Last month, Magistrate Jacqueline Milledge reprimanded the celebrity in court for using illegal drugs, pointing out the harmful effects these drugs have on the community.

She told the chef that a lot of people rely on him to make them feel better, and cautioned him against using cocaine to cope with his personal problems.

Okay, so the magistrate basically told him – told him! – that everything was on the line. It wasn’t just about him messing up, you know? It was about all of us, everyone who believed in him, getting hurt if he failed. It felt like he was saying, ‘You carry all of our hopes, and if you drop them, we all fall with you!’ Honestly, it was devastating to hear, but it just made me root for him even harder.

The judge decided not to register a criminal record and instead gave Fassnidge a two-year good behaviour bond, taking into account the consequences of his actions for both him and his family.

This was the TV star’s second court appearance regarding this issue, after previously being fined for it in 2022.

Colin and Jane Hyland got married in 2006 and have two daughters together, Lily and Maeve.
