First Look at Grogu’s New Home In ‘The Mandalorian & Grogu’ Revealed In Full

Fans have been waiting a long time, and now there’s a first look at the world of Grogu and Din Djarin in the upcoming The Mandalorian & Grogu movie. This film will bring Star Wars back to theaters on May 22, 2026 – the first big-screen release since 2019. It follows the success of the popular Disney+ series that introduced “Baby Yoda” and made him a modern pop culture icon.

A new image from the upcoming Star Wars: The Mandalorian Visual Guide gives fans the best look yet at Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and Grogu’s new home: a simple cabin located just outside the city on the planet Nevarro.

Releasing on May 26, 2026, just after the movie comes out, this book takes a comprehensive look at the Disney+ series – all three seasons plus the new film. It features over 600 photos and exclusive behind-the-scenes information.

Following a difficult struggle where the Mandalorians retook their planet, overcame Moff Gideon, and restarted the Great Forge, Din Djarin chose to leave his life as a solitary bounty hunter behind for a more peaceful existence.

Din Djarin officially adopted Grogu and they made a home in a simple cabin on the edge of Nevarro – a peaceful change from their adventurous past. The final scene of Din relaxing on his porch showed a rare moment of calm for him, and a new visual guide has revealed more details about their quiet life together.

The book describes the cabin’s porch as a place for calm reflection, which makes sense considering the final scene of Season 3 featured Din sitting there alone and thoughtfully.

The property includes a high-tech security dome, described as a “horizon-sweeper,” which implies Din Djarin, despite seemingly settling down, still remains vigilant and prepared for danger.

The image shows the distant cliffs of Nevarro City on the horizon, emphasizing how far away their new home is. This suggests they’ve chosen a secluded and peaceful life, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

This small cabin isn’t just a location for Grogu; it’s officially his new home, according to the Visual Guide. While he’s lived in other places before, this seems to be the most stable and settled environment he’s experienced in his approximately 50 years.

Grogu’s Past Star Wars Homes

You know, before Grogu had his cozy little cabin, a lot of us fans consider his very first home to be that amazing floating stroller! I remember seeing it in the first episode of The Mandalorian – Season 1, to be exact – and it was just so cool. That little egg-shaped pod on Arvala-7 is where Din Djarin first found him, and it instantly captured my heart. It really felt like a safe space for the little guy.

After being rescued, Grogu found a home aboard the Razor Crest, Din Djarin’s ship. This ship served as their base of operations while they traveled the galaxy in Seasons 1 and 2, and will reappear in the new adventures of The Mandalorian and Grogu.

Watching Din Djarin and Grogu travel in the Razor Crest was just magical. I loved how Grogu was completely fascinated by that little control knob, and the image of him sleeping peacefully in his tiny hammock while Din piloted them across the galaxy is something I’ll never forget. It really showed how their connection was growing.

Everything shifted at the end of Season 2 when Luke Skywalker began training Grogu. As shown in The Book of Boba Fett, specifically the episode “From the Desert Comes a Stranger,” Luke’s new Jedi school on a secluded planet became Grogu’s temporary base, putting him in a difficult position: follow his path as a Force-user, or stay connected to Din.

During this period, viewers discovered Grogu had once lived at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant as a young child, before the devastating Order 66 destroyed his peaceful life there. The temple had been his only home, and he lost it all when tragedy struck.

Once Din and Grogu were reunited, they traveled the galaxy in a new ship—a fast and stylish N-1 Starfighter, first seen in Season 3. This ship felt much cozier than the Razor Crest, signaling a fresh start for them as Grogu officially became a Mandalorian apprentice.

This brought Grogu and Din Djarin together with the Mandalorian Covert in Season 3, revealing Din’s upbringing and ultimately leading to the stable life they now have together on Nevarro.
