De Bethune and independent retailer EsperLuxe have joined forces to create a special version of the popular Titan Hawk watch, called the DB27 “Night Hawk.” Developed with master watchmaker Denis Flageollet, this watch celebrates the partnership between the two companies and their commitment to innovative craftsmanship. It features a unique “Starry Sky” dial that recreates the night sky as it appeared at the location where De Bethune and EsperLuxe officially became partners in 2021, making it a meaningful and symbolic release.
The DB27 “Night Hawk” watch boasts several new design features for the collection. Most notably, it’s the first DB27 model to feature a stunning titanium dial with a flame-blued finish, evoking a celestial look. The watch case, crafted from polished grade-5 titanium, measures 43mm in diameter and just 9mm thick. It also introduces a new design element: matte flame-blued floating lugs that gently conform to the wrist. The dial is completed with gleaming blued hands and a chapter ring featuring silver Roman numerals. De Bethune’s signature “microlite” engraving adorns the mid-case, adding a distinctive touch.
This watch runs on De Bethune’s own AUTOV2 movement, offering a 60-hour power reserve. It features several unique, patented technologies, including a lightweight titanium balance wheel with gold details and a specially designed balance spring. The intricate inner workings of the watch are visible through the see-through caseback, showcasing De Bethune’s exceptional craftsmanship and technical skill.
Only 10 DB27 “Night Hawk” watches are available, and they can only be purchased from EsperLuxe for $70,000 each. Each watch comes with a blue fabric strap, plus an additional custom-made strap designed by Alex Crown.
