Scarlett Johansson was seen in some unusual situations in the freshly unveiled preview for her forthcoming action film, Jurassic World: Rebirth.

In a recently unveiled teaser trailer, Universal Pictures revealed the actress, aged 40, showcasing her deadly charm and skill, squaring off against yet more ferocious dinosaurs.

She stars as skilled covert operations expert, who leads the team on a mission.

To securely acquire and return the genetic samples from the deadliest and colossal dinosaurs that have ever roamed our planet, these individuals are tasked with this high-risk mission. The dinosaurs were made even more formidable due to the genetic modifications performed by the scientists in Jurassic Park on them earlier.

The team is spotted voyaging by sea and landing on an island, initially met with a spine-tingling growl in the background, as they braced themselves for encountering the most fearsome dinosaurs still surviving there, hinted by rapid text snippets on the screen.

On this critical assignment, they descended a towering cliff using ropes, only to encounter a pack of ravenous velociraptors head-on.

Additionally, they secretly approached a dinosaur’s nest to retrieve DNA samples from the eggs, but ended up getting into a fight on the water when a horde of colossal, water-dwelling dinosaurs attacked their boat in an attempt to overturn it.

Almost toppled into the ocean, she managed to hold on to the railing using only one leg to stay afloat.

As she dangled beneath the boat upside-down, she aimed her tool towards a dinosaur, intending to gather its genetic matter; meanwhile, her companions were yet to regain their footing.

At one point, they also encounter a family of innocent civilians.

They happened upon the island by accident, fleeing from disaster.

And they must help them escape.

In addition to the prominent actors, you’ll find Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Luna Blaise, David Iacono, Audrina Miranda, Philippine Velge, Bechir Sylvain, Ed Skrein, and several others on the roster.

The newest and latest franchise film was directed by Gareth Edwards. 

Jurassic World Rebirth is set to premiere in theaters on July 2.
