Fans of Elden Ring have a lot to look forward to! A movie adaptation, directed by Alex Garland and produced by A24, is officially scheduled for release in March 2028, and filming has already begun. Plus, the long-awaited Tarnished Edition of the game could be released very soon. For those playing Elden Ring Nightreign, the new Forsaken Hollows DLC offers plenty of content, and more expansions are likely on the way.
Aside from the recent announcements, fans are wondering what’s next for the Elden Ring series and if a sequel will ever happen. While a second game is possible eventually, FromSoftware is currently focused on other projects, including a new game called The Duskbloods that will be exclusive to the Nintendo Switch 2.
Bandai Namco and FromSoftware have partnered with Gecco to announce a new Elden Ring product coming in winter 2026. It’s available for preorder now, but fans might want to think twice before spending, as it’s likely to be expensive (according to a post on X).
Elden Ring Returns With Official Winter Release
Bandai Namco recently revealed a new collectible statue from Elden Ring, showcasing one of the game’s iconic armor sets. Fans can preorder the impressive statue now, with deliveries expected in winter 2026. However, it comes with a hefty price tag – currently $470 USD – and is a limited-edition item, available through Gecco and Bandai Namco’s online store.
Even though it’s expensive, the statue is stunning and a great addition for serious collectors.
Every aspect of this collectible has been carefully crafted under the direct guidance of FromSoftware. Skilled artists have meticulously sculpted and painted each detail – from the rough feel of metal armor and the natural aging of leather, to the battle scars and stains that hint at a rich history of combat.
This 1/6 scale Raging Wolf statue was sculpted by Shinya Yamaoka, with finer details added by Katsushige Akeyama. It stands on a detailed base that looks like the stone path to Stormveil Castle. You can see a closer view below.
It’s Been A Huge Year For Elden Ring Fans
As a huge Elden Ring fan, the last few weeks have been amazing! We finally got preorders open for Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition on the Nintendo Switch 2, which is fantastic news. And on top of that, A24 officially announced the movie will be coming out in 2028! Things have been extra exciting because some leaked images and footage from Alex Garland’s movie adaptation have surfaced, and everyone is buzzing with theories and speculation about what to expect.
Recently released images offer a first look at the upcoming live-action adaptation of Elden Ring, showcasing details like Queen Marika’s appearance and a scene involving the Dung Eater. Fans can also spot recognizable locations from the game, such as the Church of Marika and the city of Leyndell. Although these pre-production images might change before the show airs in March 2028, they’ve already given fans plenty to discuss and speculate about.
