Ed Sheeran shaves his head to ‘signify a fresh start’ as he debuts new buzzcut in a life update

Ed Sheeran recently shaved his head as a way to symbolize a new beginning, and shared the change with fans in a personal update.

The 35-year-old singer, famous for his long, red hair, surprised fans by showing off a shaved head in a photo he shared on Tuesday.

Ed recently shared on Instagram what he’s been up to for the past month, as he prepares to start touring again.

I shaved my head because I wanted to symbolize a fresh start – I’m going through a lot of new beginnings right now. I really like it and I’m considering keeping it shaved.

I’m thrilled to announce more tour dates in Latin America! I’ll be hitting Mexico, Brazil, Paraguay, Argentina, and Chile. Check my website for all the details on tickets and shows – I’ve missed playing for you all in these amazing countries and cities, it’s been too long!

I recently met up with Martin Garrix – I’ve known him for over ten years and he’s a really great guy.

Ed continued: ‘4. I’ve had shingles for the last month, wouldn’t recommend it, but on the mend now

‘5. Finally watched stranger things, season 4 bangs.

I recently read ‘Demon Copperhead’ and it’s fantastic! I know it’s been out for a while, but I highly recommend checking it out if you haven’t already.

I’ve been finding some great records while browsing in record stores lately. One standout was an album by Allan Taylor called ‘The Traveller’ – I discovered it in Williamsburg and really love it. It’s not available online, which makes it feel like a truly unique find for my collection.

I’m excited to start the tour again in just over a week! Looking forward to getting back to work and seeing everyone there.
