Devil Wears Prada hits London! Anne Hathaway looks sleek in a tight velvet dress as she joins co-stars Emily Blunt and Simone Ashley – as well as fashion powerhouse Donatella Versace

The stars of The Devil Wears Prada gathered in London on Tuesday night for the premiere of the long-awaited sequel.

As the sun set, the stars of the film—Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, Meryl Streep, and Simone Ashley—showed off their incredible style.

The film’s stunning visuals are expected, as it’s a celebration of high fashion, heavily inspired by Vogue magazine and its editor-in-chief.

Anne chose a sophisticated, fitted navy velvet dress, a change from the more flowing gowns she’d been wearing during previous film promotions.

Anne looked young and radiant, with her brown hair pulled back in a sleek ponytail and a polished, glamorous makeup look.

The movie brings Anne back together with Meryl, Emily, and Stanley, revisiting the competitive world of high fashion, but with a fresh, contemporary feel.

The story hints that Miranda Priestly is struggling with the falling popularity of magazines and newspapers, all while competing with Emily, who now holds significant power over important advertising accounts.

The next installment will feature several new actors, such as Justin Theroux, Kenneth Branagh, and Lucy Liu.

The movie was filmed in both New York and Milan, and early sneak peeks have already gotten fans very excited.

As a lifestyle expert, I can tell you that The Devil Wears Prada wasn’t just a hit movie – it really became part of our culture! Meryl Streep’s Miranda Priestly is instantly recognizable, and the film sparked a huge wave of fashion enthusiasm. Even now, I hear people playfully quoting her famous line, ‘That’s all,’ and it just proves how much of an impact the movie had.

Initial reviews for The Devil Wears Prada 2 are in, and critics are saying it’s fantastic! One reviewer advised fans to ‘prepare yourselves—it’s phenomenal.’

The movie premiered in the US on Monday, and critics who saw it early have already begun sharing their first impressions.

Although official reviews aren’t available until April 29th, early reactions on social media are spreading quickly and are very positive.

According to The Hollywood Reporter’s Alex Weprin, the film is a sharp and funny satire of the media world, presented with a glamorous, high-fashion aesthetic. He believes journalists will find it painfully relatable.

Jazz Tangcay from Variety magazine shared her excitement, saying fans should prepare themselves – the highly anticipated sequel to ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ is fantastic! She believes it’s a perfect follow-up that surpasses everything viewers could have hoped for.

Aline Brosh McKenna wrote a really clever and funny script – it’s full of memorable lines. Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, and Emily Blunt all deliver fantastic performances. The costumes are beautiful, and the music is amazing! Lady Gaga is incredible. I absolutely loved it and it was well worth seeing. That’s everything!

In a review, Daniel Baptista of The Movie Podcast called a potential ‘Devil Wears Prada’ sequel ‘fun and fierce,’ praising it for making a strong impact. He noted that Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep effortlessly reprise their famous roles and deliver excellent performances throughout the film.

‘It feels familiar in the best way, timely in the right ways, and is well worth the wait.’

Let me tell you, the sequel is bringing some seriously exciting new energy! We’re going to see some fresh faces, including a fantastic cameo from Lady Gaga. And get this – she didn’t just appear in the film, she also created a killer new song, ‘Runway,’ featuring the incredibly talented rapper Doechii, for the movie’s soundtrack. It’s a total vibe!

Donatella Versace, Ciara, and Ashley Graham make brief appearances in the film. Justin Theroux plays Emily’s boyfriend, Benji, while Kenneth Branagh portrays Miranda’s new husband. Simone Ashley plays Miranda’s assistant.

There have been some victims of the edit though as Sydney Sweeney has had her cameo cut.

The actress appeared as herself in a short, three-minute scene where she received a makeover from Emily Blunt’s character, Emily Charlton.

Entertainment Weekly reports that Sydney’s character was originally planned to appear early in the film, but the scene was cut because it didn’t fit with the overall story structure.
