The DESCENDANT x Teva “Hurricane XLT3 DCDT” is a brilliantly designed outdoor sandal. It’s the first collaboration to update Teva’s popular Hurricane XLT3, blending DESCENDANT’s simple style with Teva’s durable, all-terrain performance.
These sandals are built to handle tough terrain – from rocky trails and riverbeds to city streets. They feature a cool, bluish-gray color scheme inspired by DESCENDANT’s summer collection. The straps are made from fast-drying recycled polyester and use Teva’s reliable Universal Strapping System with a secure locking mechanism for a comfortable, snug fit. A padded heel strap, branded with DESCENDANT’s signature woven label, provides extra support and comfort for long days.
The Hurricane XLT3 has been redesigned to offer better protection from impacts. We’ve made the footbed thicker – by five millimeters – for a softer feel and to help reduce tiredness. The sole now features a new tread pattern and Teva’s Spider Rubber Endure material, providing excellent grip even on wet or rough terrain. The design is practical and understated, with subtle branding like a gray graphic on the side and a message about protecting the planet hidden on the straps.
