Does Deadpool & Wolverine have a post-credits scene?

As a movie buff with years of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that “Deadpool & Wolverine” is a film that keeps you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. And when the credits roll, you might think that’s it, but hold on! This seasoned cinema-goer has seen it all, and let me tell you, this duo has one last surprise in store for you. So, grab a snack, sit back, and enjoy the ride as “Deadpool & Wolverine” treats you to just one post-credits scene that’s worth the wait. Trust me; it’s a moment you won’t want to miss!

Instead, for most of the credits, we’re shown a series of clips behind the scenes from different Fox Marvel productions. This includes the controversial film “X-Men Origins: Wolverine,” where Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds first worked together.

The scene is set to Green Day’s “Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)” and is definitely worth watching, regardless of your interest in the post-credit sequence.

Deadpool & Wolverine post-credits scene explained

Instead of teasing a potential sequel that may never materialize, the post-credits scene in “Deadpool & Wolverine” is a humorous callback to an earlier event in the movie.

I’m thrilled to pieces as I watch Deadpool make his grand return to the Television Association (TVA)! With a mischievous grin, he takes full advantage of their advanced tech. We rewind the clock to that pivotal moment when he, Wolverine, and Johnny Storm – with Chris Evans once again bringing the Human Torch to life – are being transported against their will to face Cassandra Nova.

In an earlier scene of the film, Deadpool lashes out at Johnny with a crude and profane verbal attack, accusing him of making disrespectful comments about Cassandra. Although Johnny denies saying such things, Cassandra reacts angrily and attacks him instead.

In the post-credits sequence, Deadpool tries to clarify things with Cassandra by showing her a previously hidden event. He aims to demonstrate that he didn’t cause Johnny’s death in a violent manner despite any misunderstandings.

I was taken aback when I discovered that Johnny actually made those remarks, and not just the ones about Cassandra licking his cinnamon ring, but also his threatening statement about urinating on her corpse once it’s freshly barbecued.

And we’ve kept it relatively clean, there’s much worse.

Once the clip is over, Deadpool turns to the camera and says: “Got you f**kface.”
