Shift Up recently announced that it’s working on a sequel to Stellar Blade, and plans to reveal it before the end of the year. This means we should get a first look at Stellar Blade 2 within the next 12 months, likely before May 2027. While this news is exciting, it doesn’t mean the game will be released anytime soon – it could still be several years away.
The initial reviews for Stellar Blade are positive, with a Metacritic score of 81 and a 9.1 user rating. Published by PlayStation, it launched as a console exclusive, but future installments won’t be limited to PlayStation.

What’s cool is it’s not about solving puzzles – it’s a real strategy game where you have to think about the battlefield, where enemies are, how your skills work together, and really plan things out.
